A high first round miss does not always cost a GM his job. John Lynch traded up for Trey Lance at No. 3 & remains with the 49ers because the rest of the roster maintained a higher level of talent. Chris Ballard selected Anthony Richardson at No. 4 & today is no longer the GM because the overall roster talent never reached that same sustained standard. Good luck on the next chapter @Colts.
I lived the high expectation environment in 1990. We didn’t live up to those lofty expectations. What would I have done different? No wholesale changes. Just the mindset. Find the joy in the details & continue encouragement. Stop anticipating what’s going to go wrong & look at what we are doing so well. Stay the course, have faith, & be present…it’s the gift.
WR note…
Gotta plant that outside foot on grass to quickly get out of a break.
Good things don’t happen when cutting on the inside foot. 🐑
You make the call …if the Rams score 6, score would be tie at 15. Go for 2 or have punter Evan’s try the extra point?
Make the call….
Thus far this first half…The only way the cards are going to pressure is to bring a 5 man rush.
Bubble screen, TE screens, play action rollouts…let’s dial them up.
We either grow from the early dark or reach the light empty. Let the struggle be our guide. Then trust that brighter outcomes are coming.
Believe! 👊
Just added a few pieces from my collection to the locker room.

Jared Verse’s production is way down from his Rams days after the Myles Garrett trade. He moved from 3-4 outside linebacker rushing out of a two point stance to 4-3 defensive end (same thing happened to Kevin Greene when he was at the Rams) firing from three point stance in Cleveland. Before & after the trade he struggled to turn pressures into sacks. And folks… that’s the main reason there hasn’t been more noise about the Browns fleecing the Rams even with an injured MG.
