“I was released today after about four and a half months of detention.” Dr. Mazen al-Rantisi, a 71-year-old physician from Ramallah known across the West Bank as “the doctor of the poor,” speaks with a fresh wound on his face, inflicted half an hour before his release on October 25, 2026. He says a jailer dragged him to the release room handcuffed behind his back, shackled at the legs and blindfolded, then shoved and kicked him to the ground. Israeli occupation forces seized al-Rantisi from his home in the al-Tireh neighbourhood of Ramallah in June without announcing any reason, and his daughter says he lost around 25 kilograms in their prisons.
He describes Nafha prison as overrun with scabies, affecting nearly 80 percent of the Palestinian hostages held there, with almost no medicine given. When prisoners beg the passing nurse for treatment, he says, they are cursed at, mocked and ridiculed, and he was taunted for taking the chronic medication a court had ordered he receive. He calls on international human rights organisations to intervene, saying Palestinian hostages are beaten and punished at the whim of their jailers with no oversight or accountability.

The Student List, which won yesterday's parliamentary election in Serbia, announced it would halt all arms exports to countries involved in armed conflicts.
This would put an end to weapons or ammo being sent to Ukraine and Israel, either directly or through third countries.
"Serbian weapons will no longer be used to spill the blood of innocent people."

"We as Palestinians are being silenced and gaslit and vilified [as we] witness the annihilation, the cold-blooded murder of our families, of our people... our children burnt with phosphorus, having to endure amputations with no anaesthetic... being starved to death."
Think about that.
Your family is being wiped out. Your children are being burnt and starved. And you're the one told to calm down, watch your tone and prove you're not the racist.
That's the world we live in. The people suffering ethnic cleansing, apartheid and genocide are put on trial, while the people doing it play the victim.
She's not asking for sympathy. She's asking for justice. Equal rights, freedom and dignity for every Palestinian, in every part of their land.

Two British MPs have accused Israeli authorities of preventing them from entering the occupied West Bank during a parliamentary visit intended to meet Palestinian students, civil society groups and farmers.
Labour MP Clive Lewis and SNP MP Lara Bird were travelling with three other European elected representatives as part of a delegation organised by Progressive International.
The group says it was held and questioned for approximately eight hours at the crossing from Jordan before being refused entry. They had planned to accompany Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest amid reports of violence and intimidation by Israeli settlers.

A war is coming to the West Bank
Yesterday Palestinian resistance fighters conducted a surgical strike against Israeli occupation soldiers, fully in accordance with international law.
In response, Israeli government immediately announced that they will do war crimes and started doing war crimes.
All the Palestinian villages in the West Bank are under siege, the city of Hebron is under siege. IDF is demolishing house after house, raiding family after family. They said they want to turn Hebron into Rafah.
More than 250 families were kicked out into the streets with nothing. People slept on the street last night.
The Israeli election is in 3 days, and the Netanyahu-Smotrich government is going to use this to start a war in the West Bank.
The only way to stop this is pressure from all directions. We know it works. International pressure worked for the besieged house in Qusra, which still belongs to the Palestinians because of the all-around attention. It can work for Hebron too.
But it will require EVERYONE reading this doing everything they can to stop this. Call your representative, hold a demonstration, organise direct action against the occupation’s assets abroad. Keep attention on the West Bank.
