1/ I just got married, and like any good AI software engineer, I (of course) built an iOS app + web app for our honeymoon. Before you feel bad for my wife or embarrassed for me, let me explain. It actually had us looking at our phones LESS.

9/ It already gave us something I love: a map of where we went on our honeymoon, with our photos along the way. The cost was a few hours before departure, a lot of airplane Wi-Fi and some unused Codex tokens. I’d call that a worthwhile project.

10/ The web app is below if you’re curious. Happy to share the iOS version, too. You’re welcome to inspect the software, admire southern Italy or join my mom in actually caring where we went. atlas.jeffbrines.com

Is it not slightly concerning agents can use passkeys on my computer? To be fair I asked it to do this, but I am not sure this was the intended design.

Vibe hardware is here. I gave Astra my credit card and asked for a Teenage Engineering-style mini DJ controller. It generated a concept image, sourced parts, read Chinese datasheets, built a CAD model, ordered everything, then made a Blender animation showing how to assemble it.

I like how this is once again one of those holiday weekends where 99% of the population is off having fun while a tiny number of people in tech have just all witnessed another crazy jump forward into the singularity.
