Web3 dream came true today: I took profits from trading tokens and bought a dream car with them.
This ‘66 Mustang was rebuilt by my uncle and cousin, and I’m so happy I get to keep it in the family. It’s not the fastest or the shiniest, but she’s all mine ❤️

In practice, programmable privacy means a bank could build viewing keys into its own app for compliance purposes, while the network underneath the app holds none.
That split is how Aztec Tierra works, and @Zac_Aztec explains on @Bankless why institutions need it.

NEW EPISODE - The Race to Build the Private Ethereum
Can Ethereum have truly private smart contracts without backdoors?
Aztec co-founder @Zac_Aztec joins @TrustlessState to make the case for privacy without privileged access, and why he believes @aztecnetwork stands apart from competing networks.
They break down why Wall Street needs privacy to move onchain, how ZK Passport enables identity verification without exposing personal data, and why AI-powered cyberattacks could make decentralized infrastructure more important than ever.

Aztec Tierra is live, and I am so excited to share all that we've been building.
First, our brand now reflects the unstoppable power of the private apps built on @aztecnetwork.
Next, the network is now faster and more secure than ever, thanks to our incredible engineers.
Finally, building has never been easier thanks to @NoirLang, which is now officially on stable 1.0 launch!
Dream, build, and use unstoppable private apps today, only on Aztec Tierra.
Introducing Aztec Tierra (Alpha V6).
The platform for unstoppable private apps is here.
Ethereum's only decentralized L2, with fully programmable privacy: permissionless, private smart contracts.
No backdoors. No gatekeepers.

Venice has built its reputation around private, censorship-resistant AI inference. But anyone who knows your Base wallet address can see how much base:0xacfe6019ed1a7dc6f7b508c02d1b04ec88cc21bf you hold and stake
What if Venice users could keep their AI inference private AND choose to receive their staking rewards privately?
Enter @aztecprotocol
Aztec is a privacy-focused ZK rollup that enables private smart contract execution and token transfers. It has also achieved a Stage 2 designation from L2BEAT, an important milestone for rollup decentralization
@ErikVoorhees, has @AskVenice considered giving users the option to receive VVV staking rewards on Aztec?
I'm not proposing that Venice abandon Base or migrate its existing staking contracts
Rather, I'd like to see an optional claim-and-bridge integration that allows VVV stakers to receive their rewards in a private balance on Aztec
The first step could be a proof of concept:
> Claim VVV rewards on Base
> Bridge the tokens to Aztec
> Hold and transfer them privately
> Preserve the ability to redeem VVV back to Base.
The original claim and bridge deposit would still be publicly visible, but subsequent ownership and transfers on Aztec could remain private
There are engineering challenges, including cross-chain messaging, bridge security, fees, and wallet integration. But Aztec already has the building blocks for private tokens and Ethereum portal contracts
If the engineering proves feasible and there's demand, Venice could eventually explore private DIEM transfers and even private staking
Venice has already made AI inference private. Why not give users the option to keep their VVV rewards private, too?

If you're headed to @EFDevcon this week, mark these events down! Our co-founder @Zac_Aztec is speaking at multiple events across a variety of privacy-oriented topics. 🧵👇
First, catch Zac @IBWofficial mainstage on November 2, discussing onchain finance! xitter.cf/IBWofficial/status/211…
Zac Williamson (@Zac_Aztec) joins IBW2026 as a speaker.
Co-Founder & CEO of @aztecnetwork, the privacy Layer-2 on Ethereum. Doctorate in particle physics from Oxford. Co-author of PLONK, the 2019 SNARK paper now used widely across crypto.

Having unstoppable, decentralized privacy is unbelievably challenging.
Aztec is utterly unique in what it offers.
If it’s backdoored or centralised you are going to FEEL that in 2027. Hardened, open protocols are essential to survive what’s coming.

Aztec will be one of the biggest projects in this space because it has these (unique) ingredients:
- decentralized
- private without any backdoors
- smart contracts that let you build *anything* on top of the above, with full compliance
It’s that simple.
If you value your privacy, use @nyxmoney. It is already integrated with @Rabby_io and @MetaMask, and with receiver addresses, will allow you to receive, stake on Aave, and send funds privately end-to-end.
SO DOPE.
Share an address once, and anyone can watch what it does afterward.
@nyxmoney receivers let you hand out a different Ethereum address each time, with no visible link between any of them and your private account.
Launching soon on Aztec Alpha V6.

Noir 1.0 has been years in the making, and this is just one of the MANY announcements we're excited for leading up to @aztecnetwork Alpha V6.
PROGRAMMABLE PRIVACY IS FOR EVERYONE, AND IT'S POWERED BY ethereum:0xa27ec0006e59f245217ff08cd52a7e8b169e62d2.
Noir 1.0 is live.
A more reliable foundation for zero-knowledge applications: stable language, versioned toolchain, audited compiler.
Developers can build and iterate predictably as they create the next wave of privacy-preserving apps.

"Privacy" is a crowded word now.
Zac co-wrote PLONK in 2019, before many of the projects using that word today existed.
Aztec has been building the same thing ever since: programmable privacy made accessible for everyone.
