One website idea from Ep. 179 that almost nobody has done yet, from IMPACT coach Mandy York: Publish a page written for AI agents. Honest Fix did it. Business name, location, owner, guarantees, pricing, and machine-readable resources, all in one place, labeled as being for AI.

Why it matters: Mandy expects AI agents to be making everyday purchases on people's behalf within about 18 months, starting with e-commerce and B2B. Big-ticket buys like a roof will take longer. The page costs an afternoon and makes you easy to read when that day arrives.

Where does AI belong in a business process? Tom Nassr, CEO of XRAY, gave @BobRuffolo a rule on Ep. 178: make the process as deterministic as you can, then add AI at only one to three points where judgment is needed. His inbound-lead example: automation logs every contact in the CRM, every time. AI researches the company from the email domain and writes the brief.

And the one Bob acted on the same week: limit what an agent can touch. Bob's second brain could send email on his behalf. Tom raised prompt injection, which he calls an open problem nobody has solved. The send button is now off.

7 signs your marketing agency isn't worth the money, from IMPACT coach John Becker on Ep. 180 with @BobRuffolo. If three of these sound familiar, that's a conversation worth having this quarter.

5. The reports lead with followers and traffic, and never connect to revenue. 6. The work is generic. It doesn't sound like you, and an AI tool could have produced it. 7. They hold your logins, your data, and the know-how. Your team stays in the dark.

A nonprofit rebuilt nearly 100 website pages in three months. Alice Lai and Leslie Carmell of Options For Learning told @BobRuffolo how on Ep. 177. The move that mattered most: they stopped planning a platform migration and started asking their intake team what families actually ask before enrolling. Every page now answers one of those questions.

Third: a hard launch date tied to enrollment season. The project had drifted for a year. IMPACT held them to three months. Leslie's line: staying on the old plan would have meant still being on it.

New on the Endless Customers Podcast: @BobRuffolo with Luke Wilson, CEO of SignpostAI, on what "speed to lead" means now. Being first to answer isn't the bar anymore. Being first to complete the conversation is. Questions handled, appointment booked.

One HVAC company in the episode replaced a live receptionist with a text responder tied to its own knowledge base. If the texts stop, the AI places a call. Luke also paid $35 for a single lead from Angi, which is why the first four minutes matter so much.

Think of marketing as the collectors and producers of the content they get from everyone else (sales, customer service, product developers, etc). It shouldn’t just be seen as belonging to one department.

With the mindset that content comes from everyone, output improves drastically. You get authentic, buyer-focused content. From the people who know them best.
