Who's keeping an eye on the #marineenvironment?
GESAMP is a group of independent scientific experts that provides advice to the @UN system on scientific aspects of marine environmental protection. International Maritime Organization recently hosted its 53rd Session in London.
This #WorldFoodDay, IMO stands with the @UN family in the global effort to end hunger. Ships carry the food the world depends on, and seafarers must be safe from geopolitical conflicts and free to do their vital jobs.
