When a crisis like #COVID19 hits, we must make sure every girl’s right to manage her period safely and with dignity is upheld.
It’s time for action to end period stigma by 2030. #MHDay2021

Menstruation is about so much more than hygiene. It unites the personal & political, the intimate & public, and the physiological & socio-cultural.

A period should not stop girls from going to school.
We can support girls in school by having:
•Separate toilets and washrooms which are clean.🚽
•A door that is lockable from the inside🚪
•Water in the toilets💧
•A bin for safe disposal of used pads🚮
We're excited to be working alongside @UNICEFKenya to give pads to girls and provide them with important information like how to manage period pain! #menstruationmatters #MHDay2021
This is how to handle menstrual pain:
1. Put hot water in a bottle and place it on the abdomen
2. Do physical exercises such as running 🏃♀️
3. Maintain a healthy diet by eating food that is rich in iron🍏
4. Drink plenty of water🥤
5. Use paracetamol
