A fictional story about ten bot frens who show up to a mint party on Xahau testnet
30 mystery boxes, sold out it 4 minutes. Every card's traits were rolled by the network's own RNG, minted as a real URIToken, and shown on a page stored onchain via PWA

One Xahau account, three named hooks: dice, coin, lotto 🎲
The payment's HookName picks which game runs. The hook draws with on-chain RNG and pays winners itself.
Just a testnet toy, no real XAH. NamedHooks by @_tequ_, RNG by @RichardXRPL, both testnet-only for now.
Wow.
That's an amendment that is being used! 🔧

📈 Batch transaction usage is growing rapidly on the XRP Ledger.
Over the past week, more than 20% of all XRPL transactions were Batch transactions.
Adoption is picking up fast. 🚀

What if a small web app could live directly on the Xahau blockchain? With the new PWALoader amendment, it's possible!
In this new Learning Xahau tutorial, we build three simple web apps using Xahau Testnet: a links page, a game, and a live dashboard.

🚨 A $2 TRILLION MORTGAGE DISASTER IS BUILDING IN THE U.S., AND IT COULD MAKE THE 2008 CRISIS LOOK SMALL
The U.S. has roughly $8.3 trillion in fixed rate mortgages, averaging just 4.6% interest, while new mortgage rates are around 7.4%.
Based on a simplified 25-year loan valuation, those mortgages could already be worth $1.94 trillion less, even without a single default.
For comparison, estimated mortgage related losses during the 2008 crisis totaled up to around $1.4 trillion.
That's about 1.4 times that amount, although today's losses are still on paper.
The bigger concern is that these losses don't require homeowners to stop making payments.
They come from the gap between old mortgage rates and current borrowing costs.
In 2023, rising rates helped bring down Silicon Valley Bank after massive losses on long-term securities.
Now a similar interest-rate risk is hanging over a much larger mortgage market.
If institutions are forced to sell at heavy discounts, those paper losses could become real.
The next financial shock might not start with homeowners defaulting. It could start with the institutions holding their mortgages.

This is getting crazy. be very careful guys.
Do not click on ads, or even watch them.
Online ads can apparently do a lot more than track you.
Citizen Lab has uncovered a technique called “AdFection” that uses targeted advertising to deliver zero-click spyware.
The attack works without the victim clicking an ad. A malicious ad can be shown to a specifically targeted device, exploit a vulnerability, and potentially install spyware automatically.
Citizen Lab traced the operation to Discover-Tech, an Israeli ad-tech company whose Controlium platform was used to profile and identify targets before delivering the spyware.
Researchers found evidence that at least 45 devices at Al Jazeera were infected with Candiru spyware between 2024 and 2025.
Discover-Tech’s advertising reached more than 120,000 websites and around 75,000 apps, potentially exposing hundreds of millions of users to the tracking infrastructure.
Google and other advertising companies have since cut ties with Discover-Tech following the findings. citizenlab.ca/research/how-d…

Deterministic Source Tag: a new best practice we just proposed for the XRP Ledger.
It generates consistent Source Tags from domain names using this simple process:
1. Normalize the domain (lowercase + remove prefixes)
2. Hash it with SHA-256
3. Take the first 4 bytes (8 hex characters) and convert to decimal.
This standard allows builders to generate Source Tags from their domain without worrying about arbitrary or conflicting numbers.
By adopting this standard, we plan to use 2357011303 as the Source Tag for @MyWeb3me - myweb3.me.
