Telos Privacy is live. Open to the public. Today. Not a testnet. Not gated access. Not a whitepaper promise. The Telos Privacy Layer, zkTelos is here — and it changes what this network is. A thread on what launched, why it matters, and what comes next 🧵

This is exactly the kind of adoption we want to see. Telos is the hub for Alcor’s new bridge, using our Lightspeed Finality technology to connect networks like Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon and WAX. Great to see our technology being put to work.

I wrote code. Now I face 45 years in prison because others misused it. Code that no one controls. Code that no one can change or shut down. Yet somehow, I’m being held responsible for what others chose to do with it.
I feel like the whole BoA money laundering thing should be talked about, but what's left to say? I spent a year in prison for not filling out a form around selling Bitcoin and got in trouble because someone two degrees separate from me allegedly used it to launder funds. The amount in question was around $30k. BoA launders $5b and has to give one fifth of it back to the government. No jail for anyone. This is America.

Telos is building its own Decentralized Verifier Network (DVN), designed to work with the LayerZero protocol. Our goal: Telos-controlled verification and independently operated cross-chain infrastructure. Development and testing are underway. More updates as we progress.

26 networks have shut down since October 2025. Builders and users shouldn’t have to wonder whether the network they trust will exist tomorrow. We thought that was the whole point. Telos remains decentralized. No individual or team can simply decide to pull the plug. Our network’s future is in the hands of our community. Over the past year, we’ve actively removed almost all of our expensive dependencies, putting self-reliance and longevity first. Every dependency we remove gives us more control over our future. We’re here to give people the confidence to build something that lasts. Our conviction is stronger than ever. The work continues, and we have some big announcements coming. Telos is built different. Telos is inevitable. Telos is unstoppable.

If your network is shutting down, you shouldn’t have to walk away from everything you’ve built. To the users, developers and communities looking for a lasting home: reach out. We’d love to understand what you need and explore how we can help you move to Telos. You deserve a decentralized network built for the long haul, and a community that welcomes you. You’ve put too much into building your future to have someone else switch it off. Let’s keep building it together. 💜

Congratulations Protofire 👏👏
Protofire turns 10 this year. 10 years, built together. A look back at some of the partners, protocols, and ecosystems we’ve helped build with since 2016. Grateful to everyone who has trusted us to build meaningful infrastructure.

It’s a wrap from OpenAI DevDay in SF 📸 We went with a goal in mind: bring recursive self-improvement to Telos. AI should be able to help us find what needs improving, build and test changes, learn from the results, and get better at that whole process over time. Across our software, tooling and how we support builders. A few announcements felt particularly relevant: 🤖 Dots — agents that can keep working on ongoing tasks. Lots of potential for turning feedback and ideas into work ready for our team to review. ☁️ Codex in the cloud — development environments where agents can keep building and testing while your laptop is closed. You can check in and steer the work from your phone. ⚡ Ultrafast — up to 8× faster token generation in Codex. When you’re repeatedly building, testing and refining, that speed starts to matter. 🔌 Sign in with ChatGPT + expanded plugins — opens up interesting possibilities for connecting Telos tools to people’s existing AI workflows. Just as valuable were the people we met. It was great to compare notes with other builders, share what we’re working towards at Telos and make connections we can keep building on after the event. There’s still work to do to put this together. But the ability for a small team and its community to build, maintain and improve an entire ecosystem is changing quickly. We want Telos to make the most of that. #Telos #OpenAIDevDay

Telos now has access to OpenAI Daybreak Blue. OpenAI designed it for authorized defensive security work, including vulnerability discovery, secure code review, incident response and patch validation. It gives our team another way to find issues and verify fixes.
