We are incredibly proud to announce the launch of our latest fleet... the Hot-Air Ambulance! 💛 Joining our family of Helicopters and RRV's, our Hot-Air Ambulances will allow us to fight the ever-rising cost of fuel, allowing us to reach more people in need than ever! 🎈

HM54: We often work alongside many different clinicians and organisations, many of them volunteers who support their local communities. One such community first responder for ⁦@EMASNHSTrust⁩ is Tim, whom today visited base with treats for the crew…. Topman, thank you!!

HM54: Frosty, snowy and chilly conditions north of the patch today. Looks lovely but if you are venturing out, take extra care on the roads and pavements, wrap up warm, with the hat and gloves for extra comfort. We are booked on with ⁦@EMASNHSTrust⁩ ⁦@OFFICIALWMAS⁩

HM54: Great sunrise for the airbase this morning, booked online with ⁦@EMASNHSTrust⁩ ⁦@OFFICIALWMAS⁩. Cold start to the day, if you are out and about, take that extra bit of care on the roads and pavements, and stick on that extra clothing layer and Wooley hat!

Stuart, one of our new Paramedics was put through his paces with a challenging training scenario covering a broad range of the new skills and procedures he’s learning! It’s a steep learning curve, but he’s upto it!!

The sheep don’t seem phased by the heli popping up in their field!! Todays crew of CCP Keith, Para Stu, Dr Tom & Capt Sam assisted RD56 @x7ljr (responding for @EMICS999 & @EMASNHSTrust) at an incident in Leicestershire - think they’ve all dried off now!!

If local crews are busy and in the patient's best interest, air ambulance services may cross county borders. This was the case this morning, with our Medic54 DLRAA crew being tasked to a mission in Nottinghamshire alongside EMAS to asses a patient involved in a motorcycle RTC.
