A Fresh Meadows man has been indicted on two counts of criminal mischief in the third degree as a hate crime, a felony, for damaging property and hurling dirt at Israeli flags at a Jewish-owned bagel shop. The 22-year-old defendant faces up to seven years in prison, if convicted. bit.ly/4yzAuoK
