We have been calling for a digital tax. Techbros need to be paying their fare share and EU citizens need their privacy and digital rights respected. @GreensEFA welcome the proposal to have an own resource from digital taxation!
🎉Amazing new team leading the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament 😍

The Irish presidency's MFF Nego Box is a disgrace. Massive budget cuts will weaken the EU at the worst possible moment.
35k+ deaths this summer show we need more funding, not less civil protection.
Standing with the leaders of S&D, Renew, & EPP, we will not endorse this MFF.

Together with all our MEPs, they'll work towards a Europe built on respect, empathy and solidarity, where climate protection, social justice and a strong democracy come first. ✊💚

EU leaders: Where were you?
This summer, Europe burned. Farmers lost billions. 35,000 lives were lost to heat. This is climate emergency. Wake up!
We demand action:
⛽️ phase out fossil fuels,
💰 tax polluters,
🌱 fund real adaptation.
Now.
📽 @TerryReintke #SOTEU
The EU Commission just published its Affordable #Housing Act; a text that fails to match the scale & urgency of a crisis many Europeans face.
Instead of addressing rising rents & speculation, it puts investors' interests before people's needs.

Hot people march for climate. We don’t make the rules.
Grab your friends, grab your family, grab your dog, hell, maybe it’s time to text that ex.
📍 Dam Square, Amsterdam
📆 Saturday 12 September
⏰ 13:00
We will be marching together with @progressiefned, @GreensEFA & @FYEG.
At our request, next week the EU Parliament will address the urgent need to protect people from the environmental, social and economic impacts of the #ClimateCrisis.
We are also calling for a minute of silence for the thousands of victims of the 2026 summer heat waves.
This summer, extreme heat killed over 35,000 people. Farmers lost harvests. Homes were destroyed. This is the cost of inaction.
📢 President @vonderleyen : Your State of the Union #SOTEU must deliver a plan, binding laws & timeline to protect people.

Keeping a roof over our heads is getting expensive.
This affects everything: the cost of living expensive, savings & creates stress about making ends meet.
The next generation depends on us to fight the housing crisis.
🇪🇺 The EU must step up and tackle this.

Inaction kills.
It has been confirmed that this massive flood was caused by a lack of climate action.
Glaciers melting at an accelerated rate caused the flash flood.
To slow climate change as much as possible, we need all government on board: our planet’s future is on the line.

50,000 people marched in Stockolm for stronger climate action.
🌻 @miljopartiet standing strong with one message: no climate deniers in government.

Europe is facing more frequent and severe heatwaves. And we are not prepared.
We are calling to convene an emergency European Heatwave Summit.
Europe needs action now: safer workplaces, cooler homes, greener cities and better-prepared public services.

Why are WE paying for a crisis THEY created?
#FossilFuel companies should paying the bill to cool #Europe down.
They have, after all, knowingly profited for decades from creating the conditions that make us overheat today.

Solar is the future!
Spain has proven that it lowers electricity bills.
Germany has proven that solar panels can be affordable for all.
Poland has proven that we can move from coal to renewables!
No more excuses, we need to invest in renewables, for the planet & our wallets.

ALT Green infographic titled "Solar is Booming!" showing that solar power provided 25% of EU electricity in June 2026, the highest share recorded. A line chart compares monthly solar generation shares from 2016–2026, with the 2026 line peaking at 25%, above 2025 and all previous years. Source: Ember (2026). The so-called ‘Patriots’ group misuses taxpayer money, violates Parliament’s rules – and gets away with it. This is not an isolated incident but a pattern of systematic fraud. Their predecessor in the European Parliament – the former ID Group – also embezzled and misappropriated millions of euros. Instead of putting an end to the theft of taxpayers’ money, conservatives and far-right groups chose to protect those responsible. CDU and CSU – together with the parties of Marine Le Pen, Viktor Orbán, and the AfD – have let European taxpayers down today.

Richtig so.
Europe is burning. Again.
We need #ClimateAdaptation now. For cool homes, public buildings and cities.
The cost? €70B/year.
Who pays? #FossilFuel giants. 7% of their yearly revenues could fund it all. They caused this. They must fix it.
