Start a hobby-marketing biz. Huge markets. High intent. Low competition. Cheap CPM. You can almost literally throw a stone at random. Have it hit a market. And you can become the big dog in that market in 6 months. Unsophisticated markets. Trusting buyers. Easy to deliver.

How many of you have offers that are selling organically but you’d like to learn how to run ads to?

$300,000 from a course about making pickles. Yes. Pickles. $750,000 from a quilt pattern. $500,000 from a drawing course. "But people can learn that stuff for FREE." They can. So why did they pay? POSITIONING. A specific sales page structure that converts every single time. A process that validates an idea before you build it. You don't beat free by dumping more information on people. You give a specific buyer a reason to choose your solution. Meanwhile… You’re still trying to sell "how to make money" to people who see 47 versions of that offer before breakfast.

This is HAM (AKA the Hobby Arbitrage Method). Find a hobby market. Validate demand first. And only then partner with someone who knows the skill to build the course. You don't have to be the person making the pickles. The link in my bio explains it.

Pre-launch is what makes the launch work.
Ways to make your info product launch worse: • Go silent for a month first • Open with “DOORS ARE OPEN!!!” • Bombard the inbox with 17 urgency emails • Ignore research & explain nothing • Never test the checkout Ways to make it better: • Do the exact opposite

How to sell a product BEFORE you build it (2026 edition): AI made building cheap. So now everyone's building. Courses. Apps. Templates. Communities. Most of it won't sell. Not because the copy is bad. Because nobody checked if anyone wanted it. The fix hasn't changed in years: 1. Pick a market that's already spending money 2. Find the problem they complain about most 3. Write the offer before you build a single thing 4. Pitch it to real buyers 5. Build only after they pay Building is easy now. Selling is the skill. Sell first. Build second.

Get FREAKING good at what you do. Become world-class. At one thing. That’ll solve 99% of your problems when it comes to making money. P.S. And don’t rely on AI to replace you.

Good copywriting is writing the way your customer speaks.

Proof>copy. Market>copy. Offer>copy. Positioning>copy. You’ve been manipulated to study a skill that’s irrelevant. That’s why AI can do it so easily.

Look at every creator that “made it”. It all happened with long form. On any platform.

Very very true. Market > offer > copy. That’s why your Claude doesn’t determine your success. It writes the most unimportant part. The important parts? You need to think for. YOU.
A good offer can make an average copywriter look elite. A bad offer can make an elite copywriter look average. Probably why I care a lot more about the offer now than I did when I first started.

Watched the news a couple of weeks ago. Not a lot of it. Like 20 minutes. Still feeling depressed.

In the age of AI You MUST have a logo and a business card before you start selling. MUST.

Load this into your Claude: Features -> benefits -> benefits of the benefits. Feature: AC in your car. Ask “so what?” Benefit: So your car stays cold in the summer. Ask “so what?” Benefit of the benefit: so you can come to work without armpit stains. TELL YOUR CLAUDE TO USE ALL THREE IN YOUR COPY.

Want to make a shit ton of money? Write a SUPER VALUABLE long-form every day for 30 days. “How valuable?” Might you ask… Imagine that each piece is a course the reader is paying $100 to buy. That valuable.

I always wanted to have the freedom to go to the beach with the laptop. Until I got it. Went once. That was the last time.
The dream of sitting behind a laptop all day in different parts of the world alone is a psyop.

That psychopath was me. I love writing :)
I saw a guy writing at the cafe today. No @bot. No @ChatGPT. No @claudeai. No @stanleybystan. He just sat there, typing words manually. Like a psychopath.

Digital nomads without a tax residency anywhere - how do you process your sales? Which payment providers and banks do you use? P.S. Yes I know about Paraguay. Asking those who didn’t do that.
