Our Text-to-Speech model is on the Baseten Model Library. This means teams already running inference on Baseten can deploy Gradium TTS with one click alongside the models they already serve, with sub-100ms TTFA. Point your agent at: docs.gradium.ai/guides/self-…
Gradium TTS by @GradiumAI is now in the Baseten Model Library, pairing ultra-low (50ms) TTFA with natural voices. Use it with any transcription model and LLM to run your full voice agent pipeline on Baseten. Try it here: baseten.co/library/gradium-t…

You can now describe a voice in one sentence and get a few AI-generated versions of it back. Something like "calm, mid-30s, Irish accent, front desk at a dental clinic." You don't need a recording or a voice actor. That makes trying voices cheap. Picking the one that holds up on real calls is harder, and that's what our new guide covers: 1. Write the prompt like a casting brief. Cover age, accent, pace and energy, and end with what the voice is for. A receptionist and a collections agent shouldn't sound alike. 2. Adjectives don't translate. In @GradiumAI's rating data, US listeners kept 76% of the voices made from a "warm" prompt. French listeners kept 53%. Write a separate prompt for each language and use case, with a native speaker. 3. Don't pick by gut. Play listeners two voices at a time without saying which is which, and count which one wins more often. 4. Test it on real calls. A voice that sounds great in a demo can still stumble over a card number, an email address, a caller who cuts in, or a bad phone line. Run the same test calls through each finalist and change only the voice. 5. Test again whenever you change the voice model, its settings or the voice ID. The guide closes with a seven-step checklist to run before launch: cekura.ai/blogs/voice-design…

Our latest TTS model has been out for two weeks, and it still leads the @voicearena_ai US English latency board. Sub-100ms median time to first audio, down from 236ms for our previous model. Try it: gradium.link/studio
Gradium-TTS is #1 on the Voice Arena US English 🇺🇸 latency board: 68 ms to first audio at the median, the fastest model we have measured. Gradium-TTS is the latest TTS model from @GradiumAI. It comes in ahead of SpeechifyAI's Simba 3.2 at 123 ms and Inworld TTS 2 at 168.5 ms, and more than three times faster than its own earlier 236 ms. Speed without giving up quality: on the same board it ranks #10 of 21 at 1007 Elo from blind native-speaker votes, which puts it on the quality-versus-speed frontier with Simba 3.2, Inworld TTS 2 and Cartesia's Sonic-3.6. We measure time to first audio the way a listener hears it, with leading silence counted and fresh text on every request so nothing is served from cache. Congratulations to @GradiumAI on the release! See below for the quality board, what raters said, and the exact audio they judged 🧵
