On-water recreation activities remained paused at Tempe Town Lake due to water releases from upstream reservoirs.
The City of Tempe is working with @SRPconnect to monitor water releases and manage lake operations. Staff will evaluate conditions daily to determine when activities can safely resume.
Tempe Town Lake is built for this moment. A primary purpose of the lake is flood control, and the lake is working as designed to handle heavy flow. Water flow is anticipated at 75,000 cubic feet per second and will fluctuate over the next several days.
The best views of the dam in action are outside of Tempe Center for the Arts. Please park only in designated areas, such as the on-site parking garage or the Tempe Beach Park surface lot.

Significant rainfall has led to flooding and forced several highways in Arizona to close for the safety of motorists.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and avoid traveling in these areas. Motorists that choose to travel should never drive into flooded roads or washes.

The $68 puts expiring today were 25% out of the money and cost $0.03 each. About 4,400 contracts traded, 90% at the ask. After Intel’s earnings, the puts hit $4.05, roughly a 135x gain (+13,400%).

Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

We had to invent a new form of WAF to mitigate this latest set of vulnerabilities. Now enabled by default for all customers for free.
The new capability that we built to help defend php2shell is live.
The @Cloudflare WAF now has full transaction detection that evaluates the request and the origin response together, and response rules block a match before it reaches the requester.
Example from the post: unauthenticated hit on /admin that comes back 200 text/html. Block it. Auth failures and redirects can then pass through untouched.
