🇷🇼 What better way to celebrate #UNDay2026 than to put the next generation in the driver's seat?
Michelle Akande, a student from @GHA_rwanda, took over as RC a.i., demonstrating what young girls can achieve when given a seat at the decision-making table.
One of the six Round Square IDEALS is Service, which encourages learners to make a positive contribution to their communities.
As part of this initiative, our learners visited Groupe Scolaire Kinyinya for an open discussion on menstrual health and healthy practices. They also donated menstrual hygiene products.
This was also an opportunity for learners from both schools to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.
A healthy mind matters for everyone💚
As we celebrate World Mental Health Day, our school counselors and peer counselors share how they support learners every day and the simple habits that help build good mental health. Watch to hear their advice, and remember that asking for help is always a strength.

You can tell they all loved it 😊
Congratulations to our Primary School learners on securing 2nd runner-up with 1,900 points at the Umusambi Environmental Trivia Competition. A remarkable achievement for our first time participating!
Thank you @UmusambiV for hosting us and for inspiring young people to care for our environment 🌍🌱
As Literacy Month comes to an end, here's a look back at how our Nursery School learners brought stories to life, through reading, performance, and storytelling 📚
Beyond the classroom, learning never stops.
Our Extra Curricular Activities (ECAs) give learners space to lead, collaborate, and grow, one activity at a time!
HIGHLIGHTS | Student Leadership Summit
“Leadership isn't about becoming perfect. It's about becoming better." _ @IrisIrumva
That was the spirit of today's Student Leadership Summit, brought to life by our GHA Student Council.
Most student leaders are given a title and left to figure out the rest on their own. Our Student Leadership Summit was designed to change that.
One full day where student council leaders from different schools came together not just to listen, but to practice, challenge each other, and walk away with something they can actually use.

Thank you Iris Irumva for your honest, encouraging words, and to our facilitators, @ericambanda, @Inkotanyi_C, and our very own alumni Jean Michel Habineza, for guiding sessions on Communication & Influence, Leading in Your Community, and Self-Awareness.
We would also like to thank all the schools who joined us, we hope every student went back with a skill they can put to use.
Today,134 high school learners received certificates and awards in recognition of their outstanding achievements in academics, dance, visual arts, and sports during the 2025–2026 academic year.
It was a moment to celebrate the awardees’ hard work, and a reminder to every other learner that consistency and effort always pay off.
We would like to thank Dr Fredrick Kateera for joining us and sharing an encouraging message with our learners and parents.
Congratulations to all the awardees, well deserved👏🏽
In collaboration with @S3Edu_Rwanda, GHA hosted a College Fair, connecting our high school learners with university representatives to explore their options for the future.

We've started the new academic year on a high note!
Today, our GHA Board Members, staff, parent representatives and GHA Foundation came together for the official opening of our new High School Complex.
With modern facilities designed to support our IB learners, the new complex will provide an even better environment for learning and growth.
Special thanks to everyone who played a part in bringing this project to life!
In January 2026, we partnered with @masaka_farms to launch their limited-edition yogurt campaign, to support Shenge Children Organization.
Yesterday, we visited @shengecorw to hand over a cheque raised through the campaign.
We also had the opportunity to meet Shenge Children Organisation’s team and we saw the plan for their center that’s currently under construction.
Thank you to everyone who supported this cause, to our learner Bethel Mangisi for her beautiful sleeve design, and to Masaka Farms for partnering with us.
We believe every child deserves care and support, and we’re grateful to have played our part in that for Shenge Children Organisation.
