Before I ever took my first breath, Jesus already knew the whole story.
He saw every time I would screw up.
He knew the sins I would choose.
He knew the days I would feel too tired or too weak to follow Him the way I should.
None of that changed His mind.
He still went to the cross.
He still took the punishment that belonged to me.
He did it on purpose, knowing exactly who I would be.
I still can't wrap my head around a love that massive.
I don't know if I ever will.
But I'm grateful for it every single day!

Make it a habit of reminding yourself: “God has been good to me before, and He will be good to me again.”

The Lord says, “Do you remember what happened when Lot tried to reason with the men of Sodom? The situation had become so dangerous that the angels reached out, pulled him back into the house, shut the door, and took over. There came a point when Lot could no longer resolve the matter through his own efforts. Heaven intervened where human reasoning had failed.
This is what I want you to understand in this season. There are battles you cannot win by explaining yourself, defending yourself, or trying to make people understand you. You have tried to reason with them. You have tried to correct what is wrong. You keep thinking that if you say one more thing or take one more step, perhaps the situation will change. You are afraid that if you remain silent, things will get worse.
But, beloved, you do not have to keep fighting simply because the battle is still going on.
Sometimes, I will restrain you from responding, not because you are wrong, but because you are reaching the end of what your own strength can accomplish. You can be right and still need to step back. You can recognise injustice without making yourself responsible for correcting everything. You can leave a matter in My hands without abandoning your responsibilities.
I know how difficult it is to watch people misunderstand you, misrepresent you, or continue doing what is wrong while you remain silent. But I want you to learn that not every accusation requires a defence, not every provocation deserves a response, and not every battle requires your participation.
Come back inside, beloved. Come back to the secret place. Stop exhausting yourself trying to control what people think, what they say, and how everything will end. Do what is right, speak when wisdom requires it, establish the boundaries you need, and then release what is beyond your control.
You do not have to remain on the battleground every waking moment. You can rest while the matter remains unresolved. You can be at peace even when others have not acknowledged the truth.
Remember, when the angels pulled Lot inside, they shut the door. There was a point at which he had to stop engaging with the danger outside and allow divine intervention to take over.
You do not have to fight every battle to prove that you trust Me. Sometimes, faith is knowing when to stop striving, guard your heart, restrain your tongue, and allow Me to show you the next step.
Come back to Me. Let your heart rest. You have responsibilities to fulfil, but you were never meant to carry the burden of controlling every outcome.
“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14 (NIV)

This might be one of the WILDEST plot twists in the entire Bible and most Christians have never heard of it.
Check this out.
There were two significant requests Moses made to God that were denied.
First. In Exodus 33, Moses asks God, “Show me Your glory.” But God tells him, “You cannot see My face, for no one may see Me and live.”
Request denied.
Second. In Deuteronomy 3, Moses begs God to let him enter the Promised Land but because of his disobedience and failure to trust God, God tells Moses he will not enter.
Request denied again.
Now, fast forward to the New Testament. In Matthew 17, Jesus is transfigured on a mountain, and the Bible specifically tells us that his face shone like the sun.
And guess who suddenly appears there with Jesus?
Moses.
Think about this. What is Moses finally seeing?
He’s seeing… the face of God.
The man who led the first Exodus and delivered his people from the bondage of Egypt is standing face to face with the One who would accomplish a greater Exodus, delivering sinners from the bondage of Satan, sin and death.
The man whose face was radiant because of God’s glory (Ex. 34:29) is standing face to face with the One whose face radiates God’s glory (Matt. 17:2).
In Deuteronomy 18:15, Moses tells the Israelites that God will raise up a prophet like him and commands them to “LISTEN TO HIM.”
In Matthew 17:5: God the Father speaks to the disciples about Jesus and says “LISTEN TO HIM.”
But wait… there’s more.
Where is Moses standing?
He’s standing… in the promised land.
The very two things Moses had once been denied, God allows him to experience in the presence of Jesus.
Two takeaways.
1. Sometimes God answers our prayer requests in ways that we do not expect. Whatever he has to offer us is infinitely better than anything we could ever imagine.
2. Our failures may have consequences, but in Christ, they don't have to have the final word.
That’s why Moses’ failure didn’t have the final word.
God’s grace did.

Normalize saying,
“God, I really want this. But I want it with Your pleasure. With blessings. In a way that brings me closer to You.”
As someone who has both, pets and children…I am in full support of people who are childless referring to their pets as their kids because I have definitely been up since 3am with a pup who has an ear infection.
Being a pet parent is the equivalent of raising a toddler except they never grow out of the toddler phase.

The older I get the more I suspect that the worst part about going to hell is realizing that God had entirely rigged the game in your favor and yet you still somehow found a way to lose.

So y’all don’t be seeing the conversations about the power grid going out soon, us running out of clean water, the fruits losing their seeds so we can’t regrow them, the robots advancing fast asf, meat being made in factories and getting shipped from Argentina (beef) with a known chemical on it etc…. Like when are we gone talk about all of that instead of everything that don’t matter?
