Since Unai Emery's first match in charge of Aston Villa in November 2022, the club have now won 20 Premier League games against the 'commercial big six' teams - more than any other side.

It would save Manchester United considerable pain if they just signed Pascal Gross. The Brighton & Hove Albion player keeps scoring against them. The Seagoal has scored against United teams managed by Mourinho, Solskjaer, Rangnick, Ten Hag and now Carrick. Eight goals so far in 18 meetings, six of the goals very significant, and he’s not even a striker.
Against United, Brighton's versatile (he's played all over) attacking midfielder has scored: the winner in May 2018; what proved the winner in August 2018; both goals in a 2-1 win at Old Trafford in 2022; what proved the winner at OT in 2023; and the equaliser last night at OT to make it 2-2 in a game Brighton went on to win 3-2 and deservedly knock a poor United out of the League Cup.
Gross also scored the third in a 4-0 win in 2022 and almost forced a comeback at Old Trafford in 2019. January 2 at the Amex and February 10 at OT are United’s next dates with the Gross goal machine. #BHAFC

So Andy Burnham is apparently scrambling to fill a £10bn blackhole & it’s inevitable there will be tax rises.
These people are charlatans because they borrow £billions to give away to other countries but they are expecting us to pay extra to cover the cost.
We are being taken for mugs & at some point we need to make a stand & say NO.
We are being used as cash cows.
Fancy Howard Webb coming out now just because the decision went against Man Utd! ..some things never change!

Martin Lewis, there is something very, very, very wrong in the system... 😡
So … let me get this straight:
* British Gas made a profit of £1.3bn between January & June
* BP announced profits of £6.95 billion between April and June alone
* Shell has profited by £9.4bn in a year
The MEN at the top:
* John Pettigrew, boss of National Grid received £6.5m bonus on top of his salary
* Chris O’Shea, chief executive of British Gas owner Centrica was paid almost £2m last year in salary and benefits
* Centrica's non-executive directors were paid almost £1m
* Scottish Power's CEO Keith Anderson is on £1.15m.
* E.On boss Michael Lewis is on £1m
* EDF's Simone Rossi is also on £1m
* And their top execs enjoyed a share of £4.65m
* Peter Simpson of Anglian Water earned a £1.3m pay package
* Welsh Water bosses awarded themselves bonuses of over £930,000
* Severn Trent bosses awarded themselves bonuses of £5.56m
* Thames Water's Sarah Bentley, received a £727,000 bonus on top of her £2m annual salary
Meanwhile there are...
* People who haven't had breakfast and/or lunch TODAY, because they can't afford it.
* People using FoodBanks because food is becoming more of a luxury than a necessity.
* Children celebrating a birthday without presents.
* Parents worrying about new school uniforms - and some schools enforcing rules which are not cost-effective.
* People who can't get to work because they can't afford to put petrol in their cars/pay for public transport anymore.
* People who are working so much they're making themselves ill, and they STILL CAN'T AFFORD to pay their bills.
* People who have been given fines by these same energy/water companies because they couldn't afford to pay their bills in the first place - increasing their debt.
* Customers being told to do STAR JUMPS TO KEEP WARM for crying out loud!
* Hose pipe bans when gallons of water leak away everyday.
* Elderly people NOT DRINKING because they're worried about running out of water!!!
All this and energy prices are set to rise up to 75% in October...
THIS IS MADNESS!.. I'm all for supporting profits … I'm not for supporting greed at the cost of lives of others.
Something needs to change.
Why is customers' money being used to make life more comfortable for those who are making life more intolerable for the rest of us?
I actually don't understand how the energy companies are allowed to get away with this and why the government aren't stopping them instead of handing out money.....
COPIED AND PASTED FROM OTHERS :
PLEASE KEEP IT GOING SO MORE AND MORE GET TO SEE IT .

We're now being conditioned to accept £2.00 a litre for petrol as normal - you know, because of the 'cost of living crisis' and 'war'.
At the same time fuel companies make record profits.
Something ain't right.

As much as Sky try to pretend otherwise, Aston Villa are also in the Champions League this season having qualified for the tournament via two different routes: Finishing fourth in the Premier League and winning the UEFA Europa League.

Always be careful in Teams meetings!! Make sure your camera is off 🤣🤣🤣very funny 😁🤣
I’ve seen that performance countless times away from home under Unai , I just feel dominating the ball doesn’t and has never suited us .the more possession the less shots we have and the worse the results …we are so much better in transition .just give up the ball and set traps
1995. ‘Set you free’ exploded into the charts, capturing Hacienda nights. No smartphones. Just people all feeling the same euphoric beat together in the moment.
A musical storm building into bright energy. Magical memories of clubbing. @TOTP_2 @UKBackintheDay2 @8090Throwbacks @OMGIluvthatsong
