Heat illness can escalate quickly, and having the right cooling tools available can make a critical difference. First Line Technology President and CEO Amit Kapoor recently joined the To The Bone: Sports Medicine Podcast to discuss temperature management, heat-related emergencies, and the importance of effective cooling strategies. The conversation also includes a discussion of Immersion Cooling Equipment (ICE), designed to give responders and medical teams a practical solution for rapid temperature management when every minute matters. Listen to Episode 101: To The Bone: Temperature Management with Amit Kapoor to hear more about the science, the challenges, and the tools available for managing heat stress. Last week, world leaders and their protection teams gathered in New York for the UN General Assembly High-Level Week, bringing increased attention to the challenges of protecting high-profile individuals in complex environments. It is also a good reminder that executive protection planning should include preparation for contamination incidents. Our Executive Protection VIP Decon Webinar covers what protection teams should consider when a VIP may be exposed to a CBRN or hazardous-material threat, including response priorities, contamination control, and decontamination options. If you missed the live webinar, you can now watch the recording and review the presentation: Watch the webinar: ow.ly/9aMY50ZTgr5 View the slide deck: ow.ly/7Y6m50ZTgr2 Being prepared to respond is part of our mission of Preserving Life and Preventing Harm. #ExecutiveProtection #VIPProtection #CBRN #Decontamination #Preparedness

We're heading to Luxembourg for the NSPA CBRN Industry Day, 28–29 September 2026, at the NSPA premises in Capellen. Decontamination capability across NATO nations starts from very different places: different equipment sets, different training pipelines, different procedures. Closing those gaps is the conversation we are traveling for. Amit Kapoor, President and CEO of First Line Technology, is presenting in the decontamination workshop on Monday 28 September, covering our decon solutions and training: • Hybrid Decon®, designed to bring dry and wet decontamination into a single operation • FiberTect® dry decontamination at the point of contact • Manufacturer-certified training that helps units build capability in-house Come connect with us while you're there. We'd love to hear how your teams are approaching decontamination and share how we're supporting the mission of Preserving Life and Preventing Harm. #CBRN #Decontamination #NATO

Fire departments around the country are strengthening their heat protocols. Some are cooling heatstroke patients on scene rather than waiting for the hospital: a large immersion bag rides on the vehicle, a cooler of ice gets restocked every morning, and the patient goes in the bag with ice poured over the chest. That is readiness built in before the call comes, and it deserves credit. A better outcome would be never needing the bag at all. The ICE System (Immersion Cooling Equipment) is designed to both prevent and treat heat stress. Arm immersion during rest cycles helps bring a working crew's core temperature back down before anyone reaches the point of collapse, and the same basin handles full-body immersion if someone does go down. - Arm immersion cooling for up to six responders during rest cycles - Full-body immersion for one adult when rapid cooling is needed - Rehab operations with no electricity, fumes, or noise - Lightweight and collapsible for transport between stations and scenes Built for fire departments, schools, athletic programs, military units, and outdoor crews facing extreme heat, in support of our mission of Preserving Life and Preventing Harm. National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day brings attention to the dangers of illicit fentanyl and the devastating impact it continues to have on individuals, families, and communities. It is also an important reminder of the risks faced by first responders who may encounter fentanyl in the field. Education, awareness, and proper response procedures are essential for reducing exposure and preventing secondary contamination. Today, we encourage everyone to learn more, recognize the risks, and support the people working to keep our communities safe. #FentanylAwareness #ResponderSafety #FirstResponders #CommunitySafety
