Introducing @felisan2, previously a User Advocate at Quartz. Feli's profile is full of insights but this quote jumped out at me: "Finding the right people and team to work with is more important than finding the perfect role or job description"

My favourite quote from @Karen_L_Johnson's profile is: "It’s important to find inspiration in solutions and patterns that we see outside of our work and industries. The world is changing & news experience & delivery will & to change in order to meet the needs of our audience."

Job alert!
@NYAmNews is looking for a Digital Editor. This is an incredible opportunity to shape strategy at one of the nation’s most historic and valued newsrooms. #JournalismJobs careers.journalists.org/jobs…
One thing key for this project is diversity. To properly explore how newsrooms are changing the people profiled need to be diverse, the roles need to be diverse, but so do the publication sizes & types, their business models and their strategies. So PLEASE do send in suggestions
Morning, having said hello yesterday. We wanted to share a bit more about our thinking and why now.
The speed at which newsrooms/news operations add new roles and the power and responsibility they give them is different from one publication to the next.
With this in mind 1/3
We want to explore these roles, how they came to be, what they actually involve day to day. We think this is one of the clearest ways to see how things are changing, because it is where organisations are moving money to (or not..) which speaks volumes to their priorities 2/3
