The gospel reached Kerala, India, nearly 2,000 years ago, according to Christian tradition. Yet today, many people from this region still need to hear the good news of Jesus.
Meet the Malayali people.
Originally from southern India, the Malayali speak Malayalam, and approximately 77 percent of those living in the US practice Hinduism.
Many Malayalis in the US now call New York City home. And while their roots may be thousands of miles away, the opportunity to share the hope of Jesus with them is right here.
Will you join us in praying for Malayalis in NYC?
🙏 Pray that God would open hearts to the gospel and help Malayalis understand that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone.
🙏 Pray that Malayali believers would grow in their faith, share Christ with their families and friends, and make disciples in their communities.
God is bringing people from around the world to our cities. How might he use you to reach them?

Who are you helping grow in their faith?
The Great Commission calls us not only to share the gospel, but to make disciples: teaching others to know, obey, and follow Christ.
Whether through a Bible study, a conversation with a friend, or intentional discipleship, God can use us to help others become firmly rooted in His Word.
Don't just share what you know. Invest in helping others know Christ.

We have every reason to rejoice.
Our joy isn’t dependent on easy circumstances or visible success. It is rooted in Christ; in who He is, what He has done, and the hope we have because of the gospel.
And that joy has a purpose. As we rejoice in Christ, we display to the people around us the goodness of the God we proclaim.
So even in the challenges of ministry and everyday life, rejoice in the Lord. Let the hope of the gospel shape the way you live and the way you go.

When the pressure comes, where will you stand?
Following Christ requires more than a strong start. Scripture calls us to remain steadfast; to stand firm in the truth, hold fast to the gospel, and remain faithful even when doing so is difficult.
Our confidence isn’t ultimately in our own strength, but in the One who holds us fast. Because of Christ, we can stand firm and continue faithfully in the work He has given us.
Stand firm. Hold fast. Keep going.

Small towns can be easy to overlook. But God has no forgotten places.
While cities and growing communities need healthy churches, so do the rural towns and counties across North America. These communities are filled with people made in God’s image who need opportunities to hear the good news of Jesus and grow as his disciples.
In this week’s EveryEthne blog, Jim Murphy shares why rural communities matter to the mission of God and why more believers should consider taking the gospel to places others may pass by.

A small community is still a Great Commission opportunity.
The Balkar are a small people group with roots in the Caucasus Mountains of southern Russia. An estimated 600 live in the United States, and very few are known to follow Jesus.
This week, pray that God would bring Christians into meaningful relationships with Balkar people. Ask Him to open hearts to the gospel and give new believers courage to follow Christ and share the good news with their families and communities.
And as you pray, consider how God might use you to reach people from other cultures where you live.

Our God is a God who restores.
Through Christ, sinners are reconciled to God and made new. And His restoring work doesn’t stop there. By His Spirit, He continues shaping His people, strengthening what is weak and making us more like Christ.
As we experience His grace, we can also point others to the hope of restoration found in the gospel.
Where do you need to trust God’s restoring work today?

Pastors are called to persevere, but faithfulness doesn’t mean never stopping.
In the demands of ministry, it’s possible to keep preaching, leading, and caring for others while your own soul grows tired. Jesus offers a better way: “Abide in me” (John 15:4).
True rest is more than time away. It’s returning to Christ as the source of strength, joy, and fruitful ministry.
In this new article, Elias Garcia shares why healthy, sustainable ministry begins when pastors remember that before they are shepherds, they are sheep who need the Good Shepherd.
Read “The Pastor’s Need for Rest: Abiding in Christ for Healthy and Sustainable Ministry.”

This week, pray that Sikh Jats would have opportunities to hear and understand the gospel. Ask God to give Christians genuine friendships with their Sikh neighbors and the wisdom and boldness to share Christ with love and clarity.
Will you join us in praying for Sikh Jats in Canada?

What has God entrusted you to guard?
Scripture calls believers to hold firmly to the truth of the gospel—to know it, protect it, live by it, and faithfully pass it on to others.
In a world filled with competing messages, guarding the truth requires knowing God’s Word and remaining rooted in Christ. And as we guard what has been entrusted to us, we also have the responsibility to share that truth with the next generation.
Hold fast. Stay rooted. Guard the good deposit entrusted to you.
