As Southern Baptists commemorate Orphans and Widows Sunday, let's remember the Church's responsibility to care for vulnerable children by fostering, adopting and partnering with Baptist children’s homes.
"While our government plays an important role in our social order, the Church must be allowed and willing to actively fulfill the demands of Scripture by proclaiming the redemptive and healing love of Christ to the world." - Zack Pruitt, ERLC vice president of public policy and general counsel

Justice Alito: Do parents have to affirm certain beliefs about marriage and sexuality?
St. Mary's: Yes, it must be affirmed in good faith.
On this election day, our country is marked by a range of emotions as many of us anticipate winners, losers, and what that means for society.
While these things matter, we know that this world is not our ultimate home (Heb. 13:14) and that nothing can shake the reality that Jesus Christ is on the throne, his rule and reign forevermore (Rev. 11:15).
Here are a few prayer prompts to guide us today: erlc.com/resource/praying-fo…

Tomorrow, Southern Baptists will join in praying for the estimated 388 million believers suffering extreme persecution because of their faith in Jesus.
“Even as we give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy in the United States, we must remember the countless believers around the world who face opposition, imprisonment and persecution because they follow Christ,” said ERLC President Evan Lenow.
The ERLC will continue advocating for the Baptist distinctive of religious liberty wherever it is threatened at home and abroad, believing that this freedom opens a door to share the Gospel around the world. baptistpress.com/resource-li…
