Kamila Pokój, our Senior Marketing Manager, is on stage at Code BEAM Europe 2026 right now. 🎤
As part of the Erlang Solutions marketing team and the Gleam Core Team, she knows how hard it is to get a technical project the attention it deserves.
Her talk, Reverse Engineering Marketing for Devs, shows how to use your experience as a developer on the receiving end of marketing to reach the right people. Without being annoying about it. 👏

Our very own Hernán is leading his "Supervisors Gone Rogue" session at Code BEAM Europe 2026! 🎮
It is a co-op top-down shooter built in Elixir. The supervisors have gone haywire and keep restarting the enemies you are trying to kill. 🔁
Grab a laptop, phone or controller and join in at the informal zone. 🙌
Just a reminder, we've got a super quartet of speakers who will be sharing their knowledge and insights over the next two days! ⤵️
Make sure you find their talks in the schedule and join them!
Good morning from Code BEAM Europe 2026! 👋
The stages are set, the venue is starting to fill up and we're excited to spend the next two days talking all things BEAM! 🙌
On Sunday, colleagues from Erlang Solutions and Trifork UK walked 13 miles along the Thames Path in memory of Mark Cowan.
Together, we have raised £850 for Prostate Cancer Research. Thank you to everyone who walked, donated and shared Mark’s story.
Mark was determined to raise awareness of prostate cancer. It is the most common cancer in men, and early detection saves lives. If you have any concerns, speak to your GP.
You can still donate, here: justgiving.com/page/joanna-g…
In case you missed it, we've got your Monday soundtrack sorted. 🎶
Dmytro has built a live chiptune synthesizer in Erlang, with no samples and no audio library. Just maths and the BEAM. 🎹

We're also excited to be a Platinum Sponsor, so make sure you come to our booth to talk about building fault tolerant, scalable systems on the BEAM. ⚙️
See you there. 👋
The Erlang Solutions and Trifork UK teams are walking 13 miles along the Thames Path on Sunday 18th October in memory of our colleague Mark Cowan, who recently lost the battle with Prostate Cancer. When Mark found out he had Prostate Cancer, he was determined to fight it publicly, and use his experience as a way to raise awareness of preventative measures. We are raising money for Prostate Cancer Research in honour of Mark's life and to continue raising awareness on his behalf.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. And if you’re over 50, or you’re Black, or you have a family history of the disease, then your risk is even higher.
If you have any concerns, or think you may be at higher risk, speak to your GP. Early detection saves lives.

Can agentic AI find the security vulnerabilities other tests miss? 🔐
Our latest article says yes, with a condition.
Using Claude Code, Lukas Backström examined Erlang/OTP, a codebase that already has expert review and extensive testing. The reported findings included approximately 20 previously unknown, potentially severe vulnerabilities. 🛡️
Agents give teams more leads. Human expertise decides which ones matter.

At Code BEAM Europe 2026, our SAFE core team member, Robert Fiko will do a deep dive into the story of how SAFE transitioned from Erlang and Elixir to Gleam, comparing how each language compiles to BEAM and where the first ideas broke. 🔍
Tickets are still available, so make sure you don't miss out: codebeameurope.com/ @CodeBEAMio
Robert Fiko will speak about adapting the SAFE framework for Gleam in "Same Runtime, Different Language" at Code BEAM Europe 2026.

When Jonatan from the Erlang Ecosystem Foundation spoke about bringing in an external reviewer, it wasn’t just about checking his work. It was about showing the wider community that his code could be trusted.
SAFE helps teams do exactly that. It’s not just about finding issues, but proving you’re ready for scrutiny.

It was great to have Viktoria, Hernan and Zoltan on site in Trento for a client visit with Museo delle Scienze, one of Italy’s leading science museums. 🇮🇹
The visit brought the team face to face with the MUSE team, building on a partnership that has already delivered UranIA, the real time AI visitor guide we collaborated on. The agenda covered plans for future cooperation alongside some valuable technical discussions. 🤝
It’s this kind of close, ongoing collaboration that keeps trustworthy AI systems trustworthy long after launch.
