Mainline Protestants may be theologically liberal, that's certainly debatable.
But it's empirically false to call them politically liberal.
Of the Seven Sisters, only two of them clearly favored Harris in 2024 (UCC and TEC).
61% of United Methodists voted for Trump.

when you committed yourself to Christ?"
In 1988, 37% of Americans indicated that they had a born-again experience at one point.
In 2024, it was 38%.

My current husband is going to find this funny.
My current husband @NealFAllen and I have written a book on writing for everyone who has been writing for a while, or wants to start writing a novel or memoir or anything at all. You can buy it at your local bookstore on March 17 but can pre-order at: goodwriting.app/the-book

Now, it's 35%.
During that same time period, the share of Christians who were mainline Protestants dropped in half.
