Does anyone know if is.gd has an issue - for a few weeks now, while existing short links are working, I've been unable to create new ones, whether custom or not. :(

When a university says that it's going to 'save money' by 'restructuring', it means that it's going to sack lots of people, nudge lots of people into voluntary severance, and this 'restructuring' is actually going to cost millions.
Just watching @BBCBreakfast talking about the BBC getting schools singing - remember #SingingTogether on the radio anyone??
Thank you @ScotRail #AberdeenStation for reuniting me with the bag I accidentally left on the train at Arbroath this evening

ALT Title: SOME GRAMMATICAL VOICES FOR USE IN SCIENTIFIC WRITING ACTIVE VOICE e.g. Our team collected samples and then we tested them. CLICKBAIT VOICE e.g. We collected some samples... You won't believe what happened next! PASSIVE VOICE e.g. Samples were collected and tested. HAIKU VOICE e.g. Quiet science lab. Workers arrive with samples. The testing begins. PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE VOICE e.g. We did all the collecting and testing. No need to thank us. Just doing our job. CONSPIRACY VOICE e.g. Mysterious "Samples" were harvested and covertly "tested" by so-called scientists.
Like so many others, I'm trying to get my SFHEA application done; if anyone is able to send me any short comments - and how I've influenced your work in any way, that would be very useful! #LTHEchat

After much consideration, I'm officially changing my name to King's Cross.

Briefly dipping back into Twitter to note how devastated I am to see History Scotland magazine come to an end with the Spring 2025 issue. It has been a pleasure to work on the magazine over the past 10 years, and its loss is a big blow to the field of Scottish History.
So, @Rohantime #rohan - what has washed off this? Guessing it was Great Britain 19(7?)2? But not sure what the “on” should be…

For 5 years I've written personal blogs detailing my traumatic #T1D #SightLoss journey.
To help others understand my vision changes I also created 17 #H5P interactives. I’ve now collated all 10 diary entries into 1 open-licenced educational resource #CCBY.

Absolutely astonished at being awarded an MBE for services to Digital Humanities. I’ve no idea who nominated me - but thanks - and great to see #digitalhumanities supported in this context! It will take a moment for this to sink in! theedinburghreporter.co.uk/2…
