The NCSC is encouraging UK organisations to prepare for immediate updating of systems using PHP. Where immediate remediation is not feasible, organisations should consider taking the system offline until it can be fully mitigated.

My son‘s best friend hasn’t come back to school this term – his parents tried for 2 years but simply can’t afford to keep paying school fees with 20% VAT on top.
A young man in his final year of school has to scramble around now to find a school place to study for his A-levels.
Congratulations Labour. Mission accomplished.

Me: What's the wifi password?
Bartender: You need to buy a drink first.
Me: Ok, I'll have a coke.
Bartender: Is Pepsi ok?
Me: Sure. How much is that?
Bartender: $3
Me: There you go. So, what's the wifi password?
Bartender: You need to buy a drink first.

I asked Gary how we would implement a wealth tax.
First he said to tax revenues of their companies - a consumption tax (which mostly get’s passed on to consumers).
Then he said to tax their profits - a tax that can be avoided by almost any global entity.
Then he said to tax the value of their assets - which causes wealthy people to leave.
I’m not arguing with the idea that billionaires could pay more in taxes but I’m curious as to how he intends to implement the plan without doing more harm than good.
In the debate, Gary didn't know the difference between inheritance tax and income tax. He didn’t know the difference between revenues and profits.
I worry that the guy who’s proposing new taxes has a very low resolution understanding of taxes.
