I see everyone is jumping on the “hate Blur” bandwagon. What exactly is the marketplace that we are holding up as exemplary? Blur was fast with a great UI, and I never had issues logging in. I’d use it even though Opensea was where the points farming happened.
The only correct take on @pranksy and apes. He was fearless with his massive NFT buys because he never sought moon shots, just reliable income. Everyone wanted him to buy their new NFT project because of the visibility and volume that traveled to everything he touched.
While you’re right, it’s worth noting that it’s quite possible BAYC would not have minted out without Pranksy. It was after the reveal- 7 days after release- that Pranksy and Jimmy took interest in the project and went to Twitter to share BAYC with their followers. This no doubt fueled the mint out and initial success of BAYC. So in a way, you both helped each other out quite a bit.

I think if I could snap my fingers and become anyone, I would become @JohnOrionYoung because he lives inside a magical world he created himself and it’s so much more fun than the “real” world. There’s no way you can’t get good vibes when you see his work and how he creates.
As the NFT market heats up, it’s time to remember the 2017-18 period, where it all started. The “world computer” was once a giant litter box. 😸

NFTs will never be collectibles if they are viewed as status symbols
Watching stories of AI agents circulating makes me think this is like giving your 10 year old kid control over your schedule and finances.
I’m guessing what comes next will be like giving your 13 year old full control.
AI is the artist of the future. It’s now harder to find images and video not touched by AI than the other way around. There is only one AI NFT artist that was given full creative liberty, and not curated. That is @DeepBlackAI
