Great time at 2026 Nashville Hematology Summit organized by @binaytara. Had the opportunity to debate FOR bispecifics in r/r DLBCL: can’t get A (access!) to C (cancer control/cost effective care/CAR-T) without B (easily accessible, ❓durable, bridging BITEs!!) @UTMDAnderson

Insurance coverage across state lines should not be a barrier for access to clinical trials ( neither should be the lack of insurance) 🥹 ‼️ #lcsm #bcsm #clinicaltrials @healthpolicycop @NCCN

The CCRI team and Breast Cancer Working Group is wearing pink for the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The start of October is a reminder to learn your risks and talk with your doctor about screening. Early detection saves lives.

🇺🇸 Where is the strongest oncology workforce capacity in the U.S.? We developed an exploratory Oncology Workforce Capacity Index (OWCI) integrating Hem/Onc physician supply, fellowship training, demographic need, economic capacity, and labor environment. The striking finding: oncology workforce capacity varies dramatically across states. This isn’t a measure of cancer-care quality—it highlights how differently oncology resources and infrastructure are distributed across the country. Could this help identify where future workforce investment is needed most? 🩸🎗️ #Hematology #Oncology #CancerCare #HealthcareWorkforce #HealthPolicy #MedEd #USMIRC

Publication alert! 🚨 Grateful to be included in this SEER data base analysis. 🧐 Hypothesis generating observations which could use lead to further study and improvement projects. 📍I suspect a lot of heath and screening behaviors leading to seasonal cancer diagnosis are around health care access challenges including meeting deductibles etc and cancer awareness months and activities do help. Congratulations to the wonderful authors/ my colleagues 👏👏 @AYasinzaiMD @TGeorgeMD @JAMANetworkOpen jamanetwork.com/journals/jam…

Rural academic thoracic oncology perspective as I am now parsing through the #WCLC26 data #lcsm Great year and momentum for #SCLC 📍 Maverick data is phenomenal to spare patients PCI and cognitive decline but absolutely need access to high quality and timely MRI access ( cumulative brain Mets in the Non PCI cohort was higher) 📍 sequencing therapies and new targets specially with Anti B7-H3 ADC ( and others like SEZ) weaved in with Tarlatamab will likely change the landscape of treatment and survival. Inclusion of rural patients with ECOG 2 in the global trials for these/similar agents is key as our population can be often older, frailer and with more commodities. #TAISHAN-302 #ARTEMIS-008
