Thanks to $65 million from the GLO, Commissioner Dawn Buckingham, M.D., is proud to share that this priority is full speed ahead! With both broadband and interoperable radio communications infrastructure projects in the works, Deep East Texas residents will be safer and more connected, especially during disasters.

Today at DETCOG — Law Enforcement Training on Conducting Environmental Crime Investigations. With funding provided by the Office of the Governor, DETCOG provided 10,724 training contact hours of peace officer training to officers in our region last year.
