For 17 mths we were not getting med supplies except some trickles. Now for 40 days even the trickling has stopped completely. Our patients are paying with their lives. the world has turned deaf ear. Allow humanitarian access to tigray please. That is possible even in active war.

Replying to @moderna_tx
@Moderna_tx saw $10.8 billion in revenue for the first half of 2022. That's $4 billion more than the first half of 2021 & it's primarily due to sales of the #COVID vaccine. Despite the major public funding for the vaccine, Moderna has yet to #ShareTheTech with LMIC producers.

Beware – humanitarian corridors sound nice – but what happens after the deadline? Medics who choose to stay to provide medical services, and other civilians, DO NOT become a valid target. msf.org/corridors-are-not-en…

The military has increased deployment around my home. No one is allowed to leave or enter. Our security guard and gardener have been violently arrested, beaten and bundled into 'drones' outside our gate. Their phones confiscated. #WeAreRemovingADictator #NTVUganda photos

In a global pandemic, inaction = death. 4 million people have died of #COVID19 since the #TRIPSWaiver was first proposed. Yet a handful of high-income countries continue to block it. RT to tell 🇪🇺 🇬🇧 🇨🇭🇳🇴 to get on the right side of history! The World is watching 👀

In countries with limited access vaccines inevitable further waves will lead to high transmission, illness, hospitalisations & deaths.High transmission will also increase chance new variants. It is enlightened self interest to make vaccines available globally & reduce transmission

💬 “If @moderna_tx were to share its tech with the @WHO mRNA Hub, the company could help increase the global production of COVID-19 vaccines now.” We’re calling on pharma corporations to #ShareTheTech to save lives. ⬇️ #VaccineEquity

To the governments blocking the #TRIPSwaiver: the eyes of the world are really just on you now. What side of history do you want to be on when the books on this pandemic are written? ➡️bit.ly/3FBB2jB

The great majority of adults have been vaccinated. Four weeks working on a COVID ward makes stark the reality that the majority of our hospitalised COVID patients are unvaccinated and regret delaying. Some are very sick including young adults. Please don't delay your vaccine.
