Job hunting is a full-time job with no onboarding

A lot of people trying to break into crypto assume they need to start their career over. They usually don’t. Someone from fintech may already understand payments, settlement or financial operations. A SaaS support lead may already know how to troubleshoot complex products, communicate with users and surface recurring issues. A cybersecurity professional may already understand threat models, incident response and risk. A B2B salesperson may already know enterprise sales cycles, procurement and account management. The crypto-specific context still matters. But the underlying work often already exists outside crypto. For candidates, the question becomes: which parts of my experience transfer? For hiring teams: which skills truly need crypto experience on day one, and which can be learned?
