The Taliban have just announced that women are forbidden from being visible through the windows of their own homes. Refusing to play this match should be the easiest decision these cricketers make in their entire lives.
It is a universal law that those of us who actually like our fellow men attend very few parties; that people who enjoy their work do not long for public holidays, and that those of us who are happy have little need of festivity.
