After hearing that 3 million nominations were submitted to @StreamerAwards I gave up on thinking I’d even get nominated for Best IRL streamer of the year… looks like the universe didn’t.

I've wanted to refresh the videos on my main channel for years. Finally, I spent the day working on many of them (from the oldest to newest). It might take me a few more days to catch up to a point where I'm comfortable.
YouTube Studio is a little janky but it'll do the job!
I was talking about this ever since I got to Brazil and I have a theory. At least in my case, most of my long time viewers just chill and second monitor me. Years of chatting, there’s nothing to chat about anymore. The new kids are enthused but most of them hella annoying.
Shroud recently talked about how quiet chats are in 2026.
I was curious, so I ran the numbers for my own channel, comparing every September from 2018 to 2026.
From September 2026 to September 2018:
⏱️ Chats per Minute Watched are down 86%.
👀 Chats per Viewer are down 87%.
⌛ Chats per Hour Streamed are down 52%.
So, at least for my channel, it's true. Viewers are significantly less chatty than they used to be.
Possible reasons:
📉Falling Off. I have a stream where I talk about the streaming space; if the streaming is struggling (it is), there's less active interest in the topic.
👵 Age. People are older now, have more responsibilities, and don't have as much time to actively consume.
💥 Ads. The platform breaks the experience up far more than it ever did.
📱 Mobile Viewers. The platform is hyperfixated on fickle mobile viewers who watch for shorter durations.
💹 Rise of the Lurker. Other communities encourage it, so it becomes the expected experience across the platform.
🪙 Economy. People are struggling; it's better to put effort into a side hustle than a Twitch chat.
🤖 Viewbots. Bots don't typically chat.
💀 Culture Death. Twitch Culture has really disappeared since the pandemic. When was the last time we had a new sitewide copypasta?
We finally made it to World Wonder #6 — Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! 🇧🇷
I spent my first few days in Centro/Lapa, and honestly, it felt like I was living in Batman’s Gotham City. 😂
Rio has this incredible kinetic energy that I can really appreciate, but it’s definitely been a challenging city to IRL stream.
That said, I feel like God has truly blessed me throughout this journey. I’m keeping the faith that He’ll continue watching over me as I explore the rest of Brazil. 🙏
A few more days in Rio… then possibly São Paulo! 🇧🇷

Rapa Nui (Easter Island)
Learning about the history and mystery of the Rapa Nui was intriguing. The Moai statues, weather, UTV, drone drama, sleepy dogs, ceviche, cockroaches, and late night church stoops… all made the island… the island.
So much mhystery here!
Today I decided to take my @DJIGlobal Neo 2 drone out for its first flight on Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Even with a full charge battery, the winds were too much! At one point I accepted total loss but somehow the little guy made it even though the battery was at 0!
