Our Patron Dame @RebeccaHarrisMP Bill to Prohibit the Sale of Glue Traps is due to have its Second Reading on Friday 4 September. Rebecca supported the Glue Traps (Offences) Act 2022, which criminalised the unlicensed use of glue traps. Despite this Act, glue traps remain openly for sale, meaning that access to these inhumane devices is still possible. The new Bill put forward by Rebecca will take the law a step further and prohibit the sale of glue traps

Millions of laying hens in the UK are crammed in cages that provide each bird with little more space than an A4 sheet of paper. This prevent hens from fully stretching their wings, moving freely and carrying out their natural behaviours. Some countries have ended cages for laying hens . The UK should show the same ambition and end these cages
