A Site Dashboard README gives your team a single place to find helpful information without having to ask or leave CloudCannon 💡
We recently updated it so you can add images and anchor links, and it now builds a table of contents for you.
Find out how to add your own README here: cloudcannon.com/documentatio…
Our new dev server lets you work on your site locally and test CloudCannon’s editing experience in real time.
Every save shows up in the browser immediately: Tom's latest video shows how it works, using an example @astrodotbuild site 🚀

Tom Richardson walks through the new CloudCannon CLI in his latest video: adding a site, writing its configuration, and updating build settings.
As a bonus demo, he also shares a script to automate site health checks — which client sites need updating, alerts for failed builds. (Before the CLI, that would have meant opening every site in the dashboard one at a time — now it's all accessible from the terminal 🚀)

CloudCannon has a CLI!
We've aimed to put everything you might need in one place. Getting your configuration set up, validating it before a build runs, automating tasks, and even a local dev server to preview how CloudCannon will work against your local files.
There's more in there too: a REST API, a TypeScript SDK, and the Visual Editor API that's quietly powered visual editing in CloudCannon for years, now documented and open to build on.

🤯 A way to switch a page between languages inside the CloudCannon editor, and edit the translations right there!
It's called the Rosey CloudCannon Connector. Rosey is an open-source translation workflow for static sites, and the connector is the piece that brings those translations into the editor so a non-technical team can work with them.
The whole setup is available as a template: @astrodotbuild and Rosey, with English, French, and German already configured, ready to copy and try yourself: cloudcannon.com/templates/as…
Nomio rebuilt their website: ~300 pages in 2.5 days on @astrodotbuild and CloudCannon! What they really cared about was whether everyone on the team could edit it without breaking anything.
- Publishing a case study went from three hours to five minutes.
- When they did a performance pass they had four agents optimizing across four branches, one per Lighthouse metric, and finished at 99-100 across the board.

Branching is the best thing Git ever gave developers, so we had to let non-tech teams enjoy it too!
Here's how it works in CloudCannon:
When someone wants to update the website, it could be a big redesign or quick typo fix, they work on their own branch. Devs, designers, and content editors can all work in parallel without stepping on each others toes.
Adding your @astrodotbuild website to CloudCannon just got better... and way faster... and easier (we think!)
We built agent skills that do it for you
1. npx skills add CloudCannon/agent-skills --all
2. prompt your agent 👉 Migrate this site to CloudCannon using the migrating-to-cloudcannon skill
3. commit and push to sync with CloudCannon

Deploy Previews are live!
Every pull request gets its own live, editable Site in CloudCannon, plus an automated comment on the PR pointing straight to it.
Developers stay in GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket. Editors stay in CloudCannon. Both looking at the same thing ⚖️

😬 IYKYK... most CMSs only know how to publish one thing at a time.
Git solved this for developers years ago and CloudCannon brings that same model to content teams. No more queues, no more waiting on someone else's approval cycle.

Most conservation teams are too busy protecting wildlife to deal with waiting every time they need to update their website.
Te Tautiaki Hoiho, the Yellow-eyed Penguin Trust, felt that. As a small NGO, every hour spent waiting on someone else to make a content change is an hour not spent on the work that actually matters.

The story behind the @astrodotbuild website gradient 🧐🧐🧐
(It's worth spending the time on the polish and performance!)
Who's been making the most of their dashboard?
The CloudCannon README feature is basically a cheat sheet that lives right on your dashboard! Drop a single file in your repo and your onboarding notes, editing guidelines, and key links appear right where your team works.
(Hopefully) it means no more "just ask the developer how to do it"

How do you move from a "functional" website to a "high-production" one?
@mikeneumegen and @FredKSchott dive into why the building blocks matter. If your tools handle the heavy lifting of performance and primitives, you can spend your time where it counts: the polish ✨

With CMSs like CloudCannon offering live previews on static sites, I don't see why I'd give up those advantages for a WordPress alternative. Second, the auth system forces you into Keypass. 😡
The wait is over! We're excited to announce the winners of the @astrodotbuild Community challenge.
