ALT Gusty northeast winds will continue over Santa Ana wind prone parts of LA and Ventura county. Winds will be gusty into early Sunday, with gusts of 35 to 55 mph across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Isolated gusts to 60 mph will be possible in favored locations. For the northern Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County Mountains, E-SE winds of 25 to 40 mph are expected during this time. Temperatures will rise to 75 to 85 degrees over much of the area, with humidities falling to between 8 to 15 percent by Sunday afternoon. In addition, poor overnight humidity recoveries are expected in many wind-affected areas Sunday night, topping out at 10-20 percent. The warm and very dry conditions, combined with gusty offshore winds, will lead to critical fire weather conditions and Red Flag Warning issuance for much of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. During this time, use extra caution driving and avoid any activity that could spark a fire.
