Today, I give thanks to God and to my mom and dad for receiving the sacrament of Baptism, as an infant at St. Charles Borromeo parish in the Archdiocese of Toronto.
This is one of the most consequential decisions my parents made for my salvation.
Happy baptism day to me ๐

Blessed are those who have died in the Lord; let them rest from their labours for their good deeds go with them. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen. #AllSoulsDay #catholicTO

Itโs been a tough day, my mother has been admitted into the hospital and my aunt just passed away.
Plus a few more heavy crosses.
In your charity, please pray for my mother as she is scheduled for a procedure tomorrow and for the repose of the soul of my aunt. ๐๐ฝโค๏ธ
Jesus, you are:
The Way
The Truth and
The Life
Thank you everyone for your messages and prayers. I couldnโt respond to all of them. It is beautiful to see all the posts and messages. The procedure for my mother went well and she is recovering. We are anticipating she will be discharged in the next day or two, unless there are complications. Your prayers are working.
My family is also making funeral arrangements for my aunt. As a deacon this is very emotional to preside over the vigil prayers, assist at the funeral mass and the committal of a family member.
However, it is what the Lord has called me to do. Not my will, only Your will Lord. And so I carry out my duties to serve, relying solely on His grace and strength.
There but for the grace of God, go I.
Thank you for your continued prayers.

You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.

Fathers, it is so important that you love your daughters as men who fear and love God. Your daughters need to see the face of God in your face. When that love is absent, the wounds they carry can run deep. You are your daughterโs first witness to Christโs love.

Gospel of the Day (Luke 13,10-17)
Jesus was teaching in a synagogue on the sabbath.
And a woman was there who for eighteen years had been crippled by a spirit; she was bent over, completely incapable of standing erect.
When Jesus saw her, he called to her and said, "Woman, you are set free of your infirmity."
He laid his hands on her, and she at once stood up straight and glorified God.
But the leader of the synagogue, indignant that Jesus had cured on the sabbath, said to the crowd in reply, "There are six days when work should be done. Come on those days to be cured, not on the sabbath day."
The Lord said to him in reply, "Hypocrites! Does not each one of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his ass from the manger and lead it out for watering?
This daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound for eighteen years now, ought she not to have been set free on the sabbath day from this bondage?"
When he said this, all his adversaries were humiliated; and the whole crowd rejoiced at all the splendid deeds done by him.
