I was proud to stand with community leaders this morning and call out Arizona's proposition 144 for what it is: an attack on your right to vote.
If you want to keep government from taking your voice and power away, then vote NO on Prop 144.
Voters in LD2 have the chance to elect Democratic leaders who know firsthand how cuts to education and healthcare have hurt Arizona families and will fight like hell to fix it. This morning, I joined them to get out the vote! 🗳️
An Egg McMuffin with OJ is now over 10 bucks. If you’re working a minimum wage job, that’s more than half an hour’s work in Arizona, and even more in many other states. Everything is more expensive in Trump’s economy.
My family knows firsthand the consequences of political violence. If we are still a country of laws, then the FBI director should have a couple of agents visit Mike Davis and ask him some questions.
This man, @mrddmia, who is suggesting I be shot, was in the mix to be President Trump's next Attorney General after he fired Pam Bondi for not prosecuting more of his political opponents. He is now at a MAGA dark money group, mobilizing death threats against me and my staff for sport.
This shouldn’t be controversial: if you aid in stealing taxpayer money or directing it to enrich President Trump or his family, then you should be held accountable for that crime. That’s what I said, and I stand by it.
And if you use the justice system for frivolous lawsuits used to intimidate and jail your political opponents, you should be held accountable for that via your bar status. No abuse of power and not violating the law? Then we have no problem.
We know most Republican politicians are desperate to change the topic from their failing agenda. That’s how this kind of coordinated right-wing media play works. The threats and intimidation — of me, my staff, and my family — *are the point* of this kind of play. This dude and so many others are just hoping that we'll shut up in response.
Not going to happen.
The rule of law still matters. I’m not surprised the most corrupt administration ever would take offense at accountability.
Elissa and I know firsthand what’s at stake. Now more than ever, we are focused on defending the Constitution.
Spare me the pearl-clutching — especially from Republican Members of Congress and online MAGA grifters who have cheered President Trump's weaponization of the government against those he doesn’t like, as recently as last week. This is a subject I know something about: Less than a year ago, Trump directed the DOJ and FBI to investigate me, and then tried to criminally indict me for a 90 second video, exercising basic free speech. The same free speech you’re exercising now, lying about what I said in this clip. If not for an anonymous group of grand jury members standing up for America's laws, I’d be criminally indicted for sedition. President Trump has turned the government against people, with raucous support from you and virtually all D.C. Republicans. So spare us the manufactured outrage.
America must be a place where the rule of law still matters. Those laws should apply to everyone equally. If you have aided in the corrupt use of U.S. taxpayer dollars to benefit the President or his family, or you have violated the law in order to carry out guidance from the President, you should be held accountable. And given how rampant that corruption appears to the average American, people looking to work for his Administration should realize that while the Supreme Court has granted the President immunity, it has not done the same for those who do illegal things at his behest.
It’s time to vote, Arizona! Gabby and I filled out our ballots and dropped them off this weekend. To make sure your vote is counted, get your ballot in the mail by Oct. 27 or drop it off at a drop box by Nov. 3. Make your plan to vote at IWillVote.com/AZ. 🗳️
Kansas has an incredible opportunity to send @Hamilton4Kansas to the Senate. He’s one of the most interesting candidates we’ve got running this year, and I’m thrilled to support his campaign for a better Kansas.
Don’t wait to make your voice heard in this election. Early voting has started in Arizona, so make your plan to vote at IWillVote.com/AZ and get it done as early as possible.
Congress passed tough sanctions on Russia to punish Putin and help end the war in Ukraine. Now the White House turns around and undoes all of that to let Russia off the hook for their illegal invasion. That isn’t maximum pressure. It’s maximum retreat.
Want to help kids do better in school? Get cellphones out of the classroom. That’s what my new bill is all about.
What happened to “the most transparent administration” ever?

Another school shooting in America today. It doesn't have to be this way.
It wasn’t until my mom joined my dad as union cops that we became a middle-class family. My parents belonging to a union meant healthcare, a pension, someone in our family’s corner. That's why I’ll always fight for strong unions to support a strong middle class.
Early voting has already started in Arizona! Whether you’re voting by mail or in person, don’t wait to get it done. This election is too important to leave to the last minute. Make your plan to vote right now at IWillVote.com/AZ.
Trump comes to Arizona and insults our governor. Someone in Bullhead City should remind the President that he's a corrupt felon who's driving up the cost of everything while @KatieHobbs is a hardworking, honest and effective public servant who puts Arizona and the country first.
Thanks to everyone who came out to our LD4 House Party! Arizonans are tired of the do-nothing politicians and want real fighters like @Aaron4Arizona, @TammyCaputi, and @KarenGreshamAZ. We have to elect them and flip the state legislature this November.
Happy 251st birthday to the U.S. Navy. Generations of sailors have kept our country safe, and joining the Navy was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It was an honor to serve for 25 years and retire as a CAPTAIN.
Whether or not we revive American shipping and shipbuilding will have long-lasting impacts for our economic and national security. We can't leave it to chance. My SHIPS for America Act tackles this head on to revitalize our country's maritime industry.

Winning New Hampshire is how Democrats take back the Senate. As a small business owner, @chrispappasnh has stood with workers his whole career, fighting for folks who just want fair pay and a voice on the job. That's exactly who we need more of in Washington.
