A candidate can claim to follow God. But does their record reflect it?
With the midterm elections approaching, Scripture offers a powerful reminder about leadership, integrity, and accountability.
Exodus 18:21 calls for leaders who fear God, speak the truth, and reject dishonest gain. Yet political promises, religious labels, and polished campaigns tell us very little about a person’s character.
As a physician, I look for evidence, not promises. Why should we approach political leadership any differently?
And remember, no political party or elected official can save a nation that has turned away from God.
Our allegiance must always remain with the Lord.
In my latest Substack, I examine what Scripture teaches about choosing leaders, recognizing corruption, and keeping our faith above politics.

CANCER, BIOPSIES & PEPTIDES: WHAT SHOULD YOU ASK BEFORE TREATMENT? xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1kKzDPYLP…
The chemicals you encountered at 20 don’t necessarily become irrelevant at 60. Researchers studying breast cancer are looking closely at exposures across a woman’s lifetime because breast tissue changes dramatically during puberty, pregnancy, and menopause. These may be particularly vulnerable periods when environmental exposures can influence what happens years, even decades, later.
That is an entirely different way of thinking about breast health.
We live in a world of plastics, pesticides, industrial pollutants, contaminated air, heavy metals, chemical-laden personal care products, and substances capable of interfering with normal hormone activity.
And exposure doesn’t happen once. It accumulates across a lifetime.
That’s important because breast cancer does not have one single cause. Genetics are part of the picture, but so are hormones, age, lifestyle, and environmental factors. If we only talk about detection while ignoring the conditions that may contribute to disease developing in the first place, we’re having an incomplete conversation.
We cannot go backward and erase decades of exposure. But we can change what happens next.

When I interviewed Dr. Robert Whitfield previously, something he explained caught my attention.
He believes preparing patients for surgery requires looking at much more than the procedure itself.
He considers a person's overall health, uses specialized testing, and discusses why he doesn't believe everyone should follow the same preparation protocol.
I want him to explain what he's looking for, what those tests actually tell him, and how he decides what an individual patient may need.
And here's another part of his work that interests me.
Some of his support options may be available without traveling to his clinic.
How does that work? Who might qualify? And what does the process involve?
I'm going to ask him on October 26.

Jamie Walden is a warrior for God and a very dear friend of mine. If it weren’t for his skills as a marine and a paramedic, his son may have lost his life in this accident.
He’s been on my Happy Hour podcast several times and he did a mini-Bible series for us on The Red Horse, from the book: Revelation.

We spend enormous amounts of time talking about finding breast cancer.
We don’t spend nearly enough time talking about what may contribute to the environment in which disease develops.
Breast cancer is not simply a genetic story. Hormones matter. Metabolism matters. And environmental exposures matter.
Researchers have been studying chemicals that can interfere with hormones, damage DNA, increase oxidative stress, and alter normal cellular processes. Many exposures have been associated with an increased risk of breast cancer.
That changes the conversation. Because breast health isn’t only about what you find during an exam. It’s also about reducing the unnecessary chemical burden your body is being asked to manage every single day.
And for women dealing with breast implants, there is another layer.
Thousands of systemic symptom reports have been associated with what patients commonly call Breast Implant Illness. Women have reported immune, neurological, muscular, and other problems, sometimes years after implantation. Some report improvement following explantation.
Removing an implant, however, does not mean we should suddenly stop thinking about the rest of the body’s toxic burden.
Your liver, kidneys, gut, lymphatic system, and other elimination pathways are working every day. Supporting those normal processes should not begin only after something goes wrong.
That’s why Pure Body Extra Detox Spray is one of the products I recommend for daily detoxification support. It’s a clean, simple way to support the body’s natural ability to deal with the unwanted substances we’re exposed to every day, without turning detoxification into a complicated protocol.

AI can give you an answer in seconds. But I’ve been asking a much bigger question: Can it really give us wisdom?
I recently joined Booker Scott on his show for a conversation I believe we all need to be having. As more people turn to AI for answers, I’m concerned about what happens when we start trusting a machine more than our own God-given discernment.
Technology is advancing at an incredible pace, but we cannot afford to lose sight of what matters most.
AI is a tool. It is NOT God. And it should NEVER replace our faith or become our source of truth.
I hope you’ll take some time to listen to our conversation. I’d love to hear your thoughts: americaoutloud.news/can-arti…
This conversation is just the beginning.
On October 24, I’ll be joined by technologist Matthew Hunt for a 3-hour LIVE masterclass, When God Meets Machine, where we’ll take a deeper look at AI, faith, truth, and the future of humanity.
