10 reasons why women - and men - shouldn't vote Reform
I wrote a statement this week about how voting for Reform UK would represent the biggest rollback of women’s rights in the UK since before the Abortion Act 1967. I provided evidence. I listed sources. I explained the pattern of how abortion rights are removed gradually through strategic silence and institutional positioning. The responses I received were disturbing. Not because people disagreed with my analysis. Because they agreed with it and celebrated it. Dozens of people commented on my Facebook post saying this was exactly why they were voting Reform. Men and women from all over the country openly stated that women losing reproductive rights was a good thing. They praised the idea of abortion access being restricted. They said this was precisely what they wanted. “Roll on May 7,” they wrote. “Good,” they said. Some said women had too many rights. Some said abortion was murder and should be banned. Some said women needed to face consequences for their choices. Some said the 1967 Abortion Act was a mistake that needed correcting. Misogynistic men and women who vote Reform thought this was worth celebrating. They were gleeful about it. They couldn’t wait for it to happen. These were not fringe voices. These were ordinary people from across the United Kingdom saying openly that they support removing women’s bodily autonomy. They were proud of it. They were voting for it deliberately. And they wanted everyone to know. This is what you are dealing with, United Kingdom. This is not a conspiracy theory. This is not speculation about what might happen. This is people telling you directly what they want to happen and why they are voting to make it happen. But abortion rights are just the beginning. Reform UK has stated they want to leave the European Convention on Human Rights. They want to remove the protections embedded in European law that currently safeguard women’s rights in the workplace, in healthcare, in public life, and in private life. These are not abstract legal frameworks. These are concrete protections that affect women’s lives every single day. The European Convention on Human Rights protects women from discrimination. It protects women from violence. It protects women’s right to privacy, to family life, to fair treatment under the law. Leaving the ECHR removes those protections. It removes the legal framework that allows women to challenge discrimination when it happens. It removes the international accountability that forces the UK government to uphold women’s rights even when domestic political pressure pushes against them. European employment law guarantees equal pay for equal work. It protects women from being paid less than men for doing the same job. It protects pregnant women from being fired. It guarantees maternity leave and maternity pay. It prevents employers from discriminating against women who have children or who might have children. It protects part-time workers, who are disproportionately women, from being treated as second-class employees. It guarantees rights to parental leave, to flexible working, to protection from harassment in the workplace. Reform UK wants to remove these protections. They call it cutting red tape. They call it reducing burdens on business. They call it sovereignty. What it actually means is removing legal protections that prevent women from being exploited, discriminated against, underpaid, and dismissed without recourse. The Working Time Directive limits working hours and guarantees rest breaks. Women, especially women in low-paid work, rely on these protections. Without them, employers can demand unlimited hours with no guaranteed breaks and no overtime protections. The Agency Workers Directive protects temporary workers, again disproportionately women, from being paid less than permanent staff doing the same work. The Pregnant Workers Directive protects women from being dismissed or discriminated against because they are pregnant or on maternity leave. All of these

Exclusive: Nigel Farage's "physical altercation" during the State Opening of Parliament was with the Lib Dem MP Caroline Voaden - and has caused an major row between Reform and the Lib Dems. Lib Dem sources say Voaden was left "shocked and shaken" after he "shoved" her to secure a place in the procession of MPs to the King's Speech. Video from the Commons Chamber that day shows Farage and Voaden making their way down from their benches together. Voaden reported the incident to the Serjeant at Arms and says Farage was asked to apologise - but hasn't. A Reform spokesman denies any wrongdoing by Farage, saying "it was the Lib Dem MPs being aggressive towards Nigel". Lib Dems say that is "utter nonsense" Farage said yesterday that the "physical altercation" was the reason he didn't put up a fight to be in the Chamber for the Budget after his prayer card to save a space was removed. He said he thought that after the row with Voaden, it was "better to avoid conflict". But in a further twist, a Commons spokesman says Farage's card was only removed because it didn't have a date stamp, which are required to reserve a spot. Staffordshire County Council is about to get its FOURTH Leader in 17 months. Reform are incompetent in local Government. Imagine this lot running the Country
Following careful consideration, I have concluded that it is in the best interests of Staffordshire, our residents and this County Council for me to step down as Leader of Staffordshire County Council and Leader of the Reform UK Group. This was a difficult decision, but the interests of Staffordshire, the Council and those we serve must come first. I do so with a clear conscience and immense pride in what we achieved together. During my time as Leader, we delivered a balanced budget, protected frontline services, secured significant investment in highways, children's services and community facilities, and provided stability through one of the most challenging periods in the County Council's recent history. I am particularly proud of the work undertaken to strengthen Staffordshire's identity, confidence and economic ambition. Through supporting investment, promoting county pride, strengthening skills and employment opportunities, and backing our tourism and leisure sectors, I sought to help unlock Staffordshire's potential and create opportunities for future generations. Whether supporting major investment, protecting Staffordshire County Farms or advocating for local businesses on the national stage, my focus was always on ensuring Staffordshire remained a county where businesses could invest, communities could thrive and residents could succeed. Staffordshire is home to some of our country's most successful global businesses and institutions, including JCB, Indurent, JLR, Finning, Keele University and Keele University Science and Innovation Park, alongside thousands of small businesses, from farm shops to engineering firms, from global manufacturers to hospitality venues and family-run enterprises. They are a reminder that Staffordshire remains one of the great manufacturing heartlands of Great Britain and a county with enormous potential for the future. I am equally proud of the work I started to raise the profile of Staffordshire's tourism, leisure and hospitality sectors. With the likes of Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, Trentham Estate and Cannock Chase, together with the thousands of hotels, spas, glamping sites, restaurants, event venues and award-winning pubs that welcome visitors every year, Staffordshire has an offer few counties can rival. I have long believed that our county should be recognised not only as a centre of industry and innovation, but also as a destination where people come to relax, explore and create lasting memories. That is why we branded Staffordshire as The Nation's Playground. I have always believed Staffordshire deserved a stronger voice and greater recognition, and that's why I called Staffordshire: The Beating Heart of the Country. It has been a privilege to serve the people of Staffordshire and to work alongside dedicated councillors, officers, businesses, community organisations and residents. While my time as Leader has come to an end, my commitment to Staffordshire and the people of Cannock remains unchanged. I do wish the Council and its new leadership every success in the years ahead. Martin Murray Staffordshire County Councillor for Cannock Town

BREAKING: Israeli spyware is confirmed on our phones. This should be headline news but none of our mainstream media is covering it, of course. So we will. An Israeli ad company called Discover-Tech used ordinary online ads to plant spyware on people’s devices, and nobody had to click anything. The ad just had to load on a website or inside an app for you to be infected. Citizen Lab and the ad security firm Confiant published the findings yesterday. Researchers went through roughly 4 billion ad-bidding records and found Discover-Tech ads running on more than 120,000 websites and 70,000 apps between March and June of this year. Confiant says the company was serving at least 10 million ads a day. The platform was called Controlium. According to Citizen Lab, it let spyware companies use ad auctions to profile and unmask users, then send an infected ad to the one person they wanted to hack. The ads were also pulling cookies and login tokens from the sites they ran on. Israeli corporate records list Dekel Boni as the company’s founding director and sole shareholder. The main spyware customer was Candiru, the Israeli firm the U.S. government blacklisted in 2021, which now goes by Integrity Labs. Five years after that blacklisting, it was still reaching devices through ad inventory on Google, Comcast-owned Beeswax and Russia’s Yandex. Google had Discover-Tech on its approved vendor list from 2020 until this week. At least 45 Al Jazeera devices were targeted in 2024 and 2025. Candiru’s 2021 shareholder filings reportedly listed a minority investor described as a proxy for Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund, and Qatar also funds Al Jazeera. If that holds up, Qatari state money was sitting inside the company whose spyware was later aimed at Qatar’s own news network. The heaviest targeting was in the Palestinian territories, where Discover-Tech served almost 2% of all digital ads and about 10% on April 7. Traffic also reached the Armenian prime minister’s office, courts, universities and defense organizations. Google and the other ad platforms cut Discover-Tech off after the report came out. What nobody has answered yet is who paid for the ad buys, and how a company working with a U.S.-blacklisted spyware vendor passed vendor review for six years. I am going to look into this today to see if we can figure out who was buying the ads. Interesting timing considering my article yesterday.... Here's what to do to protect yourself: (1) Use an ad blocker. Citizen Lab calls ad-blocking a cybersecurity best practice and says there is no consistently safe way to be exposed to targeted ads. On iPhone, add a Safari content blocker. On Android, use Brave or Firefox with uBlock Origin. Ad blockers only work in your browser, not inside apps, so it also helps to delete free ad-supported apps you don’t need. Kill your advertising ID. (2) iPhone: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track.” Then Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising, and turn Personalized Ads off. (2) Android 12 or later: Settings > Privacy > Ads > Delete Advertising ID. Then in Settings > Google > All Services > Privacy & security > Ads > Ads privacy, turn off Ad topics and Ad measurement. (3) Windows 11: Settings > Privacy & Security > General, and turn off personalized ads using your advertising ID. (4) Update your phone and restart it often. Many zero-click exploits don’t survive a reboot, so a daily restart forces attackers to reinfect you. Stay tuned!

More revelations tonight from ITV Exposure’s documentary
A Reform UK official has shared advice on how to pass party vetting by deleting social media posts supporting Tommy Robinson. It's part of an undercover investigation inside Reform UK’s political operation that has found senior party officials saying they have to “defend the indefensible”, with Nigel Farage told he was “protecting” one Reform candidate from being sacked for allegedly racist views. ITV Exposure gained unprecedented access to Reform’s Westminster headquarters, sending in an undercover reporter inside the party in January 2026, where she worked as a press officer. She secretly recorded conversations between Reform officials as they dealt with multiple accusations of racism by Reform councillors and candidates. Reform UK told us: "Not all individuals covertly recorded by ITV are members of Reform UK. Where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced. In some cases, there have been suspensions and due process must be followed. "Reform UK has improved and prioritised its vetting procedures, but from time to time, a handful of individuals who do not share our values will initially make it through vetting. This is the same for all organisations. "There is no room for racism in Reform UK. We always respect due process of investigations and whilst these are ongoing it would not be appropriate to comment on individual cases." Watch ‘Undercover: A Year in Reform’ on ITV1 & ITVX from 10:20pm on Sunday

Why should an elderly person needing social care, or a vulnerable child needing protection, lose essential services because their council disagrees with your immigration policy?
Under a Reform Government, councils that refuse to cooperate with immigration enforcement will get zero public funds. Our borders aren’t optional.

The topic of the day has been the strikes on Yandex data centers and whether they affect the Russian bot/troll army. There have been some initial research done on this, and the most interesting finding comes from Reddit: after the strikes, many US-related subreddits lost a lot of traffic. Same happened in German and Irish subreddits. As most of you know, Reddit is one of the most popular sources of information for LLMs, and I have zero doubt that Russians are actively trying to steer conversations across the platform to favor their narratives. Watch MAGA X invent a scandal about James Talarico in real time. For four days they teased it and built up to the big day. Paxton called him "missing." Spencer Pratt's "sources" put him in a mental health facility. Then, at 1:05 pm, Nick Sortor posted that an Ohio mental hospital "confirms" Talarico was discharged. 50 accounts pushed the claim within 20 minutes. Those posts have 9.3 million views. The white dots are copy-pasted posts. There are 605 of them. One account posted the same text 83 times in under 2 hours. The hospital says Talarico never received treatment there. Talarico says he's never even been to Ohio. This story eventually even made it to MSM. This is MAGA manufacturing an alternative reality in real time. Full breakdown with the data here: xitter.cf/theGhostOfRiel/status/… I pay for this data myself. If you want more of these, support links are in my bio. @jamestalarico @TeamTalaricoHQ @krassenstein
How MAGA hallucinations became real I pay for the data behind these myself and it take a lot of time and effort to analyze and create these graphics. If you want more of them, SUPPORT LINKS ARE IN BIO At 1:05 p.m. on Oct 11, Nick Sortor posted that an Ohio mental hospital “CONFIRMS” James Talarico was discharged. That evening the hospital said Talarico never received treatment there. Talarico says he's never even been to Ohio. Rhein Amacher, who made the recorded call, posted that he made up a verification code to get past the front desk. This story occurred over several days. Ken Paxton called Talarico “missing” on Oct 7. Sara Gonzales teased “unverified information” that would “END his campaign” on Oct 8. On Oct 9, Spencer Pratt said his sources put Talarico in a mental health facility, and a handful of accounts pasted near-identical “credible sources are leaking” posts. At 7:50 a.m. on the 11th, Sortor gave Talarico a deadline, “let us know by 1pm ET today.” The earlier pushes never fully took off, and acted more as a booster for the posts that came later. Pratt's post got 6.4 million views, but only about 60 accounts posted about the story in the hour after it. Caroline Wren's private-plane theory the next day drew about 40. Before the 11th, the story never topped 80 posts an hour. In the first hour after Sortor's post, 267 accounts posted about it, and by 3 p.m. it was running at almost 500 posts an hour. The first chart counts each account only once, at its first post about the story. Nothing they posted after that is counted, so it shows who started this and how far those first posts went. The first wave carried the whole thing. Sortor's post and the posts that followed in the next 12 minutes have 9 million views between them. The 55 accounts that joined in the first 20 minutes got 80% of the views in that lane. The other lines never came close. “He lied and covered it up,” the line Elon Musk and Richard Grenell pushed, got about 2 million views across 100 accounts. “He was in an Ohio mental hospital” got about 2 million across 132. The pushback grew the opposite way, the way a real response does. It started small and kept building all afternoon and evening, with 12 to 46 new accounts joining every hour from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Leave out the three biggest posts, which were the hospital's statement, Talarico's reply and Ed Krassenstein's own call to the hospital, and regular accounts pushing back still reached 6 million views. The claim had nearly 90% of its views by 2 p.m. and barely grew after that. By the end of the night, the pushback had more views than the claim, 13 million to 11.4 million. The second chart is the inorganic behavior, and it covers Oct 8 to 11, not just the day of the "exclusive". Sortor's headline was reposted word for word, or nearly, by 18 other accounts, half of them with under 1,000 followers. Caroline Wren's private-plane post was copied by 14. Four accounts posted the same Eric Daugherty post within 74 seconds of each other. Four more posted the same MAGAVoice line within 54 seconds, four hours after it first went up. Some accounts barely post anything of their own. One copied 21 of its 23 posts about Talarico from other accounts, another 11 of 11. And the spammers flooded the replies. One pasted the same reply 85 times in about two hours, another 15 times in 10 minutes. Views are each post's total as of early Oct 12. A copy means word for word or at least 90% the same as an earlier post. I pulled and analyzed about 14,000 posts for this. Sharing it helps more than anything, and if you want to chip in so I can keep doing this, the links are in my bio. It goes a long way.

Zelenskyy: "When our strikes reached Yandex data centers, it suddenly became little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. Many people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, fewer provocations because there were fewer bots. It's pretty clear where those bots were coming from. If they disappeared when Yandex went offline, this proves once again that Europe is not the source of the problems." The big problem is that Russia figured out how modern society consumes information a decade ago, but the West hasn't. There are millions of bots commenting and posting Russian propaganda. There are paid influencers spreading it, with Russian bots supporting their content. There is a gigantic machine operating to radicalize and influence Western societies, and there is not enough defense in place. It doesn't just influence elections, it sows discord, engulfs societies in culture wars, radicalizes teenagers, and shapes political decisions when elected officials fail to read the room. That needs to change. And fast.
