Louder for the folks in the back.
JUST IN: Virginia’s Loudoun County expects $1.3 billion in data center tax revenue next year, helping the county cut residents’ property taxes by roughly 30% over the past decade.

Agentic hating for love of the game
I have an AI agent that logs every negative comment someone makes about me online.
It then creates a profile of the person, maps all of their social connections, and finds all their emails.
Tomorrow morning, my AI agent will sent out an email blast to everyone's extended social network, detailing the horrible things they've said about me.

Opus 5.5 é um milestone. Esse modelo deveria ser gravado em hardware e vendido em chips com inferência 10-100x mais rápida. Já ia atender 99,99% da população e dos casos de uso

I’m young. I’m raising two kids. Why would I pay Social Security taxes?
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?”
Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.

Putting the entire AWS console into @bot while meanwhile your true business is blocking agentic shopping is certainly a curious strategy

Okay I can see why @davidsenra recommends “Endurance” all the time
Absolutely riveting third act. Stayed up way past my bedtime to finish it all.
My layman’s understanding of this is it’s a big deal - had to ask bot to explain it to me
interpretability might be the most important scientific problem in the world right now, as I don't think we can solve alignment if we don't know what we're building. I think I have good news about it. I co-authored early work in mechanistic interpretability at OpenAI and came away pessimistic, because neural networks appeared to fold into arbitrary tangled knots. years later, I started openai's first large-scale automated interpretability project, finding about 2% of neurons legible with the primitive tools we had
with modern agentic tools and a much closer look, the picture looks totally different. the vast majority in models up to trillions of parameters are legible, and their circuits beautiful. many famous examples of tangled neurons turned out to be misunderstood. The roadblocks I expected mostly aren't there. I now think ambitious interpretability will be solved by the time we need it most, and possibly quite soon, as automated scientists keep improving. it may be a bitter lesson for interpretability: the simple thing, at absurd scale, works

You do not work at a serious company
New: Accenture has told employees it will only fund $29 per month of Claude use. Meaning that employees who often spend as much as $1,000 a month are now scrambling to find ways to keep access to the tool.
