Georgia voters and voters across America have spoken.
I’d like to first congratulate Governor-elect Keisha Lance Bottoms on her historic victory last night. Marty, the girls, and I are praying for the governor-elect and her family as they lead our state over the next four years.
I’d also like to thank Rick Jackson and all of our Republican candidates for running spirited campaigns and putting themselves forward, and congratulate Senator Ossoff on a hard-fought win.
Republicans now have the opportunity, and responsibility, to heed the will of voters and learn from last night’s results. I firmly believe the conservative principles of our party lead to greater freedom, security, and prosperity for all Americans—and it’s time we get back to those principles in the months and years to come.
Let’s get the vote out tomorrow for our entire Republican ticket to keep Georgia moving in the right direction!

I have once again extended the suspension of the state gas tax to provide relief at the pump for hardworking Georgians through the Thanksgiving holiday season. Thank you to our partners in the General Assembly for helping to make this happen through our commitment to conservative budgeting!

Today, we pause to remember the horrific Oct. 7 attacks on Israel three years ago and to pray for the victims and their families. Georgia continues to support Israelis and members of the Jewish faith around the world, and we ask God to grant them peace and safety.

Early voting starts in 15 days, Georgia. Make a plan, VOTE, and we’ll replace liberal Jon Ossoff with a Georgia workhorse.
Coach Lamb was a legend and mentor to thousands of young players. RIP, Coach.
Kirby Smart opened up his postgame presser last night talking about legendary Georgia high school football head coach Ray Lamb, who recently passed away.
“I would like to mention a good friend of ours, a good friend of the program. He was here a long time with me, passed away at 90 years old, Ray Lamb on Thursday. Coached at Commerce, 22 years, three state titles, 250 wins. He’s a legend in our state.”
Marty and I were glad to support our next Lt. Governor, @DolezalForGA, yesterday!

Without Congress acting, it’s the responsibility of coaches, universities, conferences, and everyone who loves college sports to start acting with some damn common sense. If we don’t, one of the greatest American traditions will cease to exist.
The @SEC and @universityofga have it right—thankful for their leadership!
