Episode 125 is now up,
This one is a bit all over the place, just a collection of albums I've been enjoying that I haven't been able to fit into an episode

Episode 124 is now up, another look at some albums I've been enjoying from 2023

Episode 123 is now up,
In it I cover 9 albums, that due to their quality and inventiveness I think of them as having come out in the last few years, but actually they significantly older. Showing that at least for me they've really stood the test of time

Second part of the albums I’ve been enjoying from 2023 so far. I wonder which band name I'm pronouncing totally wrong in this one, my money is on Athanatheos

Going back to Afterbirth's comeback/debut album, it still sounds incredible, such a unique take on brutal death metal
Oh no, I've just realised I was pronouncing Thy Catafalque wrong all of the last episode.
I'm sure that's the only time I'll make an error like that.
Really looking forward to this one

As it's coming up to the mid point of the year I was planning the next episode to be on my favourite releases from 2023 so far.
What have you enjoyed that's been released this year?
Episode 117 - in this episode I’m joined by Jake Walter to discuss a band we are both very fond of; Enslaved.
It being far too big a discography to cover in one sitting we decided to focus on a 10 year period, Mardraum (2000) to Axioma Ethica Odini (2010)

Some really great stoner/progressive stuff in the vein of Elder from earlier this year

Bristol clearly is lacking Hardcore gigs, because I've just seen a man two step to Mystifier's Aleister Crowley & Ordo Templi Orientis
Been back less than a day and already getting some great listener recommendations
