Longtime Castro luxury consignment shop Sui Generis celebrates 20 years in Castro next week - stop by the store for the festivities!

Got a chance last week to pop in & try out Castro’s new wellness center Pause Studio.
They need a really nice job building out this space. It’s a little pricey but if you wanna treat yourself to a relaxing day, I’d highly recommend it.

Jandii Cafe will be opening in former Kitchen Story space.
The cafe is still owned by same people who run Sweet Maple & Blackwood.
This will be their second location & they serve matcha, coffee & scones.

Castro neighborhood favorite dim sum & Sichuan restaurant Mama Ji's announced it will close at the end of October.
The wildly popular restaurant had a solid 15-year run & I'm sure it will be missed by many in the Castro.

Walking around Castro recently, you might have noticed the Rainbow Honor Walk plaques are looking a bit shinier & more colorful.
That's because the plaques are getting polished & logos on each plaque have had rainbow colors added.

Church & Market restaurant The Rustic, quietly closed earlier this month.
The three-year-old restaurant took over the space previously occupied by Crook (Cook) Shoppe & longtime neighborhood favorite Chow.

Castro Nail Salon has reopened in its new 18th/Eureka location after a long battle with Another Planet and the Nasser Family.
