A crown jewel of cargo. We’re celebrating 20 years of heavy lifting as the converted #QueenoftheSkies reigns supreme starting with the Dreamlifter’s first flight. In the autumn of 2006, the first 747-400LCF #Dreamlifter took flight, built to haul oversized 787 Dreamliner parts to final assembly. During the pandemic, the fleet stepped up, delivering medical supplies when seconds mattered most. All four Dreamlifters still fly strong today, providing critical support for the 787 supply chain. Thank you to the members of #TeamBoeing and @AtlasAirWW for their coordinated efforts to keep the Dreamlifter delivering on schedule.

A 777 Freighter. Two Very Important Pandas. One bear-y special delivery. We were excited to see our partners at @FedEx transport two giant pandas from China to Zoo Atlanta. Leased to the zoo, Ping Ping and Fu Shuang traveled aboard a 777F dubbed the “Panda Express.” From takeoff to touchdown, they had all the bear necessities as they made their way around the globe, arriving safely at their new home. The pandas will be on display at @ZooATL starting in early November.

The Federal Aviation Administration has certified the 737-7! This milestone for the longest-range 737 MAX validates the rigor of the design and testing and recognizes #TeamBoeing's determination and resilience. Certification includes more than 1,000 hours of flight and ground testing, along with safety analysis overseen by @FAANews. This approval clears the way for delivery of the first airplane. Five for flying! #TeamBoeing completed a first for our test fleet: five 777-9 jets airborne in 24 hours. During the two-day campaign, the team conducted systems, propulsion and interior tests and reached a first-flight milestone. They completed six flights, nearly 18 hours of flight testing and additional ground tests.
