Reminds me of the German beat scene mid 2010s (myself included) One of the most narrow-minded environments I ever experienced. Killed all the creativity at one point just because some people said some sounds are “real” and others not.

we really used to get bullied for using the same kick/snare in multiple songs....and i wonder why i put so much pressure on myself, what kinda bootcamp were we going through on soundcloud? who made all the rules that plagued my 15 year old creativity and how can I find you?
