Each of these cases has a pattern and practice of a lack of evidence, recanted testimony from witnesses, coercion and wrongful conviction. Justice for Deshanta Young, Rico Clark and Gilberto Vargas! Free them all!

Join us on Tuesday to support three survivors of wrongful conviction! Tuesday morning at 8:45am we’ll be gathering in front of the cook county courthouse for a press conference for Rico Clark and Antonio Porter. Then we’ll head inside for court support at 9:30.
If you can’t make it in person, please join us to pack the virtual courtroom and show support for Donald Bates at 10:30 A.M (Zoom ID: 945 5046 2316)
Donald was kidnapped and tortured by CPD when he was a teenager, but fought to win his freedom through parole with a unanimous vote. In August, the Torture Inquiry and Relief Commission ruled that Donald does indeed have a credible claim of torture!
Antonio was wrongfully convicted by CPD's Brian Johnson in 2002, and sentenced to 74 years
imprisonment on December 19, 2003-- 65 years for
murder and 6 years for aggravated discharge of a
firearm. Multiple witnesses have recanted their story yet charges against Antonio remain.
Rico is a survivor of wrongful conviction at the hands of CPD’s own Brian Forberg and Kevin Eberle. As he nears victory in his court battle, Rico needs all our support at this critical stage.
