In a way every film this year is Digger. The Invite (a routine meal goes awry) The Odyssey (a man reckons with the ruination of the world he helped do) Coyote vs. Acme (there is no effective recourse against the megacorporations exploiting us) Castration Movie Chapter iii I guess

elizabeth holmes is not, in any meaningful way, the subject of ycse. she (like billy, and nathan, and [redacted]) is an object in it. the subject of ycse is the relationship between perception, performance, and reality

You Can See Everything covers the ethics of filmmaking, cult of personality, radical empathy, post-truth, and the linkage between 2010s corporate feminism and 2020s cutthroat male grifter capitalism.
which may not be *that* important but it's still important.

Every recent Nathan Fielder project expertly touches the deep existential horror of not being able to ever fully know or understand another human being or their actions.

This is why You Can See Everything is a masterpiece
Near the very beginning, Holmes and Billy say a NYT reporter quoted Holmes as saying, “They’re playing a character I created.”
The couple contends that Holmes wouldn’t say that and, instead, said “They’re playing a character they created.”
One word changes the meaning from guilty to innocent.
Then the film builds up to Fielder having a similar moment, where he has to decide if Holmes said “I knew [Billy] was talking to you about it” or “about something.” One makes her look guilty, the other innocent.
Understanding this is the key to understanding the deeper meaning of the entire film
