Agree 100%. We really need to voice that, otherwise we will be doomed. It's hard to believe it and people don't believe it, but it's really happening.

Making these thoughts public at the request of multiple folks I spoke with at @aiDotEngineer: The banning/nerfing of Fable and Mythos are but a precursor for what's to come. The real risk is not AI. It's the regulation/banning of AI for "our protection" or "national security". These are in quotes not because they are trivial but because these are the specific justifications they will use for what follows, and what follows is not good for humanity: 1. Mythos+ models will not be released to the public. At minimum, they will be shadow-banned, and the edge will be delivered directly to governments. Namely, US and China. Sovereign capital will pay whatever is necessary for this and use full govt coercion to achieve it. The shadow war is now underway. 2. Shadow banning will continue at minimum. It may lead to direct or indirect nationalization of top labs. This depends on who moves first. The first country to nationalize a top lab will move at 10x the speed with sovereign capital/hr. 3. Top corporations will also be brought into the fold and given no choice but to participate. They will do so for their own survival. 4. Open Source AI will be the final refuge for the rest of us. That is, until governments make it illegal and use their 10x models to root out and prosecute those who use it. 5. The panopticon is complete: "Show me the man, I'll show you the crime." Govt models will know everything about you, and will be able to find any crime you've committed and generate a judgement instantaneously (or perhaps simply generate instant overwhelming evidence in favor of whatever they prompt the model to generate, and laugh at you as you attempt to finance/fight it). Unlimited resources against no/limited resources. You don't win in that scenario. Will you serve The Empire or the Resistance? Will you be a Nazi or will you shelter the Jews? After WWII, these questions were actually tested by serious scientists in controlled experiments, and the results were pretty bleak. If you're not aware/need a refresher, Google the Milgram Experiment and the Stanford Prison Experiment. Spoiler: most of us become Nazis. Conclusion: Humanity is lost. Turn towards the light. A society that continues on this hedonistic, self-worshipping, atheistic, idolatric path will only end in tyranny and ultimately destruction. If you're not aware/not a believer, this is the exact story of the Bible told over and over across 4,000+ years of human history: blessing → comfort → forgetfulness → idolatry → injustice → judgment → repentance → restoration. And again, for unbelievers: maybe actually read the Bible before you comment on how stupid it is, because we all know that you've never actually read it: you've only ever parrotted the circle-jerk retorts originated by other atheists. Your very thoughts on this subject are Wormtongue. To be clear: No, I'm not saying OAI/Anth are Nazis, and I'm not saying the US govt are Nazis. But the path we are on, the game theory dynamics, and the godlessness of the people and governments could lead us to a point where we are facing a leviathan that could make us beg for a Nazi regime that we could actually defeat -- because we won't be able to defeat the leviathan. It will murder us in our sleep before we get the chance to rise up against it. AI is not the danger. Our response to it is.

Congrats @sgrove on launching @linzumi_ai! Looking forward to chatting with/controlling my agents from this!
Bring your whole team and dozens of AI coding agents into the same chat threads, then let @linzumi_ai keep the fleet coordinated and unblocked. And for a limited time, try state of the art open-weights intelligence free: GLM 5.2 at high speed, via their @wafer_ai partnership. → linzumi.com

🫡 @aiDotEngineer in London was extremely good. Absolutely incredible speaker line up, great curation, escaped the Silicon Valley bubble masturbation. Would go again.

And that's a wrap! AI Engineer Europe 2026 has concluded. Our video crew did incredible work to capture the energy, enthusiasm, and positivity of this event -- but it still doesn't come close to being there. If you're engineering the future of AI -- we hope to see you at a future event! Thank you London -- thank you Europe!

Another fantastic @aiDotEngineer in the books! Just telling @Benghamine the thing I love most is how these events let me “see around corners” – what we talk about here everyone in the industry will be talking about in 3-6mo.

thanks to @edwinarbus kindly giving me access I was able to try this out: literally just dropped the below tweet into @cursor_ai cloud, expecting this to not work because its a pretty hard task. CURSOR AGENT JUST ONESHOTTED reconstructing Rachel's website FROM JUST A VIDEO (!!!) working autonomously for 43 minutes. i'm sure theres a lot of design details that it missed. but god damn this is a fantastic starting point for just dropping in a tweet without any further instruction the below video on the right is THE ONESHOTTED CLONE not her real site. they even did the RachelLLM sidebar and demoed that it works...
Name one young product designer getting more offers than @racheljychen. Rachel, you rock.

We’re launching full-length, on demand practice exams for standardized tests in @GeminiApp, starting with the SAT, available now at no cost. Practice SATs are grounded in rigorously vetted content in partnership with @ThePrincetonRev, and Gemini will provide immediate feedback highlighting where you excelled and where you might need to study more. To try it out, tell Gemini, “I want to take a practice SAT test.”

1/ One productivity question stuck in my head: when AI can draft, explain, and propose solutions on demand (across a huge terrain!), what still has to live in your head for that to turn into real work, rather than a pile of plausible slop?

The time capsule of Kitze Americana alone is worth the time of this talk from @thekitze But stay for the gems of wisdom -- & amidst great entertainment. Such a fun talk to head into lunch (intentional -- good choice @swyx) youtube.com/watch?v=JV-wY5px…

Once, the sound was gated kingdoms, walled by gear and scripted fate, golden towers of chosen prophets singing for the market-state. But beneath the polished idols, something older shakes the frame; all the nameless, all the voiceless feel a spark and speak their name. suno.com/song/f7f637a9-0de9-…

Big thanks to @Benghamine and @swyx. Such a high-signal event with amazing people everywhere. Highly recommended if you care about your craft and want to take things to the next level. Special mentions: loved to here the @turbopuffer story. What they're doing in such a small time is outstanding. @comet were doing cool demos. I'm using Opik often and it was fun to chat with there team. I recommend the book by @Steve_Yegge & @RealGeneKim.
