Serious, chronic shortage of MH beds pervades the whole system and drags down quality across the board. Decisions become resource driven instead of needs led. Admissions are delayed, discharges are premature. Inappropriate risk taking all over the show.

POLICE OFFICERS ONLY, PLEASE - If a DR decided, with an AMHP/L&D nurse, that a MHA assessment was not required on a suspect for a serious crime, can it be lawful for the police to use s136 when the suspect is released on bail if the officers have concerns about risk? Please RT.
